Suffering is an interesting concept that has countless explanations, none of which really do it justice. In the light of this video and Christianity, there's actually a really strange response to suffering of the innocent in the Bible. If anyone's interested, read the book of Job. It doesn't exactly provide what I would consider pragmatic insight towards suffering, but God's response to Job's righteous bitching at Him about his suffering is interesting nonetheless.

It doesn't exactly provide what I would consider pragmatic insight towards suffering, but God's response to Job's righteous bitching at Him about his suffering is interesting nonetheless.
