I ought to listen to Orlando again, I dont remember this scene. i think the confusion arises from the fact it doesnt sound like Handel at first. the opening reminds me of something out of Rameau's Indes Galantes (it's in Italian so it can't be, i know, heh)

This is from Orlando, indeed. It is extracted from the recording of the concert given in the théatre des champs élysées to Paris in 2008.
