  • i think the creators of this show did a brilliant job in the story only one little fault with it is that water and electricty don't really go that well together unlike what nigel tries to show when facing up to the notohosaurs at 17:07 in the first episode of the show

I'm so thankful that you put these up =D I see there are 3 episodes so far... are the rest of the series going to be uploaded? :D

  • @PrehistoricBeasts are you sure? you could be wrong they may be extinct

  • @PrehistoricBeasts looooooooooooool XD

  • @xXanimefreakstylexX

    Are you joking?

  • @xXanimefreakstylexX You cant tell they are computermade?? Really? They have all existed, but are extinct.. at least I hope so.

  • @xXanimefreakstylexX 350 million years ago man, some of them have distant relatives like the shark. but none of the animals in this episode are alive today

    effects

  • @xXanimefreakstylexX nope.I just shot a raptor last week....

  • Wow. I've got his hat. :D

  • @MrPwnagemeister it's only computer animation and animatronics by the BBC

  • run nigel, run...

  • @czone1000 dang i would've liked to see that.

  • Last week I was given an unconditional offer to do BSc Palaeontology at University. My life is complete!!! Still, I always remember that programmes like this make up my childhood. Palaeontology forever <3 haha. I can't believe it, I am going to be a Palaeontologist for real :D

  • Amazing! Thank you, thank you, thank you for uploading this!!

  • time travelling zoologist. where do i apply for that job?!?!

  • i don't care what anyone says, nigel marvin is fantastic, the way they shot this is brilliant and the 'walking with' series got me more into history than anything else

  • i also want to say thank you for uploading this i have been wanting to see this for a long time but to think with all the fossils and more that cryptozoologist and scientist found they heavent tryed to extract DNA if any from these and try to recreate what mother nature once did so many years ago unless they have been doing this and we dont know

  • There are several issues with trying to look for DNA. First, a fossil is for the most part NOT the actual remains of the animal, but rather minerals which replaced it. Second, what little soft tissue has been found has long since broken down. Third, in order to even look for soft tissue you have to grind up a sample of the fossil, which palaeontologists are naturally reluctant to do (each specimen being irreplaceable).

  • @NightSurfer777

Also DNA is usually broken down by enzymes when a cell dies.

  • @ojtheawesome

    Must be copyright issue.

  • @PrehistoricBeasts It's not available on DVD, only a book. :(

  • I went to see the production, took my nephews, went home to Atlantic City Convention Hall, what can I say? Just EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, after the show, you could interact with some of the dinosaurs, I mean, I could write on and on, You just cannot pick a favorite creature, they are all so wonderful, they even had prehistoric flora and fauna, the triceratops! and all in a restored Art Deco building,YAY! I'm going AGAINNNNNNN!

  • Its amazing to see what creatures looked like before 450milion years ^.^ I dont know how i watched this :D Im soo afraid off water (whats in there :D ) But i watched it fullscreen HD ^.^

  • i loved the walking with dinosaurs and walking with sea monsters series (forgot how old i was when i saw them) and can't wait to see dinosaur planet

  • Thanks for uploading hope you can upload the other two

  • 19:42-20:15 what the hell were u thinking you madman!!!!!!!!!!!!????

  • @jamaicanable1 he wants to end up like poor Steve Irwin:Crocodile Hunter!

  • The dude hangs a fish out and the monster eats him instead, ahhhh(gulp)

  • actually, the atmosphere before there were trees will not only be thin of oxygen, it will also be too hot and too toxic for any humans to survive. it will be like living in the sahara desert, except a lot more worst, too hot in the day, too cold at night. but this is a good show though

  • @kcazzzzz

The period you are talking about is Carboniferous which was about 300 million years ago. This video shows Ordovician period which was about 480 million years.

  • @PrehistoricBeasts

Actually, he's half-right. But the Cambrian-which came before the Ordovician, when vertebrate life started-was even worse. 75% Co2, and the rest were oxygen, nitrogen and trace gases. There was more O2 in the Carboniferous then at any time in history.

  • @PrehistoricBeasts The Carboniferous was a time of hyper plant growth, not a time of deserts.

  • @wratched

Yeah, you're right. I mixed up the two...

  • upload the other two!!!

  • Thanks for posting this HD, very much appreciated.

  • @Sigwaerd

    Thank you.

I'll upload the other 2 episodes as well.
