guys like lafontaine, hawerchuck, savard, stasney never got their full due to playing in the gretzky-lemieux era...pat was an awsome player..I'd put lafontaine and mogilny up with any 1-2 punch -- they were magic together...one goal missing from this list is a goal hes scored as an islander against the devils, he broke in on the high side-made a couple or dekes-slammed on the brakes-backpeddled and then roofed it over (i think chris terreri)...pure magic!!!

I said "drafted by and play" for a reason. Luongo barely saw any action as an Islander. They year he was with the team Kevin Weekes played most of those games. McCabe, Chara and so many others were given up on far too soon.
