Don't mind the haters, I liked the song. Sadly both the song and B5 are from another era. Granted, B5 had an excellent soundtrack, though there was a lot of editting work by you I see.

Last I heard, JMS kinda gave up on even considering a revival.

B5 is still a great series and led the way for the CGI world we all know today. Back then they use models for scifi ships. B5 had no budget, so decided to go all CGI for their ships, etc. So many didn't think it coud be done. If they only knew.

It is past time B5 made a real comeback as a series with a real budget and a real effort, not dvd releases or follow up stories, just tell a new story, its sci fi so you can do anything you bloody want. Just give us evolving characters, fleet battles, epic struggles and good action drama again. We need a new show we can get passionate about...

Sadly krashly, last I heard JMS had given up on any B5 comebacks after the theatrical version backfire due to high up medling. Much like Crusade, execs see the profit potential of the B5 name & JMS, but they want their version/ story and not what JMS sees. But one never knows. Maybe I'll hit a big powerball jackpot and decide to roll the dice with some funding. Yeah, don't hold your breath, but here's to hoping.

Agreed - on both points! However, no one wants to do large canvas sci- fi anymore! (new)Battlestar Galactica was very good, but it was more psychological / spiritual drama than anything. Yeah, that was not a deus ex machina because the fight established Sheridan's forces victorious in a fair fight. The station could never reasonably defend from earth forever, so the Minbari "save" was really just establishing a new reality for the show.

The whole thing was a cheat on JMS' part because

****SPOILER ALERT***** Sheridan writes off Draal and the great machine as "our ace in the hole" with this being "our fight." When the reality of Sheridan sacrificing hundreds (thousands?) when he's already outnumbered vs a quick call to Draal seems pointless. JMS came up against the same problem before the Shadow's aborted attack on the station.

Wasn't a cheat because had Sheridan called on Draal to fight for him it would have lent credence to Clark's stance that Aliens were out to subvert the Earth Alliance and were lending assistance to the subversive elements within Earthgov. He was even reluctant to have the other races to provide military support to his forces when they went after Clark. Up until the liberation of Earth, it was primarily the Earthforce ships that had defected and the White Star Fleet that did the fighting.

I like this video, it's very cool. I loved the battle in "Severed Dreams." Though I'm not too fond of the music used. ...Alarmingly, though, I had this music, and was listening to another piece of music... and it wordk, really, really. well. Yuki Kajiura's "A Song of Storm and Fire." On of these days, I need to learn to make these things.
