The whole casting thing was mentioned in the previous episode. Old gabby was hitting puberty so fast (And she was supposed to be a little kid) that she was replaced by Melissa. That way they could keep Gaby a little kid without having to work the story around her growing up into a woman.
@MrAmon127 I've had this theory that Mayteana Morales was forced to leave the show due to the fact she had grown so big and tall. Gaby was supposed to be one of the youngest of the group. Only about 9 years old at first, and around 10 years by this time. But she grew so much from in season 2 she looked almost like a teenager not a young kid.
This episode has been saved by Hector and his "Why is the bird so big, was it hit by radiation" line lolol possibly his greatest contribution to the show wiping out the cheesy smile and the thumbs up he gives everyone.
