better with wet hair, keep them until until the hair is dryed, preferbaly over night then in the morning take them out and you'll end with soft curls!

To have your curls last two days with no problem, you have roll your hair wet, sleep on them or let it dry on a dryer for 45 minutes. .

@iamoneofakindful damp is better obviously. If you want to do it on dry hair you would have to use hairspray, or heated rollers, or straightener (straighten a section and roll it while it's still warm).

rollers aren't supposed to make your hair "curly" ...not large rollers like that. They are to create movement! if you want more curls just use smaller rollers

Living in the "age of the flat iron", people kind of scoff at rollers now. "Rollers are for grandmas!" Well, the thing about irons (curling irons, flat irons) is they're direct heat, which causes damage over time (i.e., split ends!) So, actually setting in rollers, then sitting under a dryer (a plug in, or that "gold thing" as people are calling it) will give you either bouncy curls or straight hair depending on how you style it...without damage :)
