Okay, I get it. Wow, it's good to understand the simple concept first before actually seeing a REAL Cash Flow Statement.
When I look corporations' CF statements they just have numbers going all over the place. Also, I don't know, sometimes, they don't even fill in all the information, they leave it blank. Then, I calculate the numbers and don't equal the totaled that they report. I think they omitted it. Real statements are so complicated. I wish they would keep it simple.
@chocoboblue99 Weeelllllll, as far as big business's are concerned, GAAP does a pretty good job as to how simple a 10k filing actually is. A major corporation has so many different avenues of cash flow it is actually pretty amazing how consolidated they can concentrate all the activity. Also, there are blanks because there is simply not enough activity in that account to justify making a note of it.
Just signed up for financial accounting at USF and was scared to death when I flipped through the text. Upon finding out that Mr. Khan has accounting videos on his channel the fear subsided. Because of this channel I got an A in my bio lab last year and I hope to do the same in accounting. Keep up the good work!
@YawningBoy He is an engineer I believe making him know AT LEAST the basic of everything. Engineers have subjects in economics, history, and every sciences...
didnt noe engineers studied eco or history; altho i noe there are untraditional engineers, i.e. natural sciences, finance or computing... but yet, if you know engineering, you should have the capacity to understand anything else quite easily
@phoebus1011 i just looked at wikipedia now and it explains he has so many degrees and one in engineering and computer science so it does make sense now.

Could you do a video on how the hell to convince people in financial services that your damn credit card is yours after you've been a victim of fraud?
They stole my identity in July, 2009, and I still have to relive a nightmare nearly every time I use my credit online.
In fact, if I never met this guy who was a banker my bank would still be refusing to let me use my own account. But never mind.
I'd like it if you did at least one video about dealing w/ fraud and/or avoiding it.
