  • I was amazed that you took these video in Taiwan!! you make me miss Taiwan here in Los Angeles so much! I was there in end of June to July 8th last year 2009, it almost burnt me out, I guess I will not visit Taiwan during the summer again..

it's shame of me that I born and grow up in Taiwan, but I don't speak Taiwanese, I couldn't understand what your M-in-Law'stalking, seems like you handle it very well. Hi let me know when you visit LA, I will take you to a small Taiwan town here.

  • The symbol means buddism in Taiwan.

On a map, it represents "temples"(buddism or taoism) For food or resturants, it represents vegetarian.(because majority of vegetarians in Taiwan don't eat meat due to their buddist or taoist belives.

  • If you're in Taipei which is at northern Taiwan, most people speak mandarin.

  • TAIWAN LOVES BLACK PEOPLE ^_^;;;

  • Nice video! I want to go to Taiwan as well, but I can't. I have only been in Latvia :O. I really like to go everywhere, first the "big" countries and then the "small" ones. I guess Latvia isn't that big, but I live in Estonia,Estonia is a very small country so Latvia is big to me. Hey I have a question too : Are you coming to Estonia in the future and have been in Estonia ? It's snowing right now. Oh, Happy Holidays too!

  • lol the swastika is going the opposite direction, if those who asked about it havent noticed.

  • its cool that you're recording your trip of everyday life in Taiwan... have fun

  • I'm going to taiwan next week!! ^_^

looks like you're having fun :D

  • Where in Taiwan will you be going?

  • I'm probably staying within Taipei city.

    Are you in 南部?

  • yep

  • Is there a lot of Christmas stuff there, like trees and lights etc?

  • Thank you for responding to my questions! Everyone is making me feel a lot better about the issue. Good video!

  • Yeah I believe it is the 4 L's Love, Life, Luck, and Light. As was said, the Germans flipped it around.

  • I was also shocked when I saw this sign at 2:56, when I was in Taibei but it's not the same as it was in Germany, it's reverse and it has somthing to do with buddism my aunt (a mmm=> in taiwanese language) told me ^_^

  • It's like a good weather there !!!! Here it's -2°C...

  • Nazi swastikas would be facing to the right, the ones to the left are for Buddhism.

  • very nice for you to share your trip moses, i also have to upload my egypt trip to youtube. you are right its racists everywhere. i dont give them any attention, keep up the good work. and enjoy your trip.

  • How nice of you to share your life with us, it's almost like being there with you. Interesting how you handle racism. No hat for a change.

  • Yes, we've got racism in every single country. There are as of yet unseen patterns when it comes to encountering it - some conditioning is so strong that seemingly non-racists go all group think on stuff. :)

  • There's a lot of MOPEDs In there I see

  • How many chances do you get to speak Mandarin in Taiwan? A lot of what I hear seems to be Taiwanese.

  • It's fun because it's all mixed up. When we're at home, there's a mixture of Taiwanese and Mandarin.
