hey man can you redo the last two steps cause like its too fast and i dont really understand the language the other video gives so can u have a sewperate vid for that?
dude, i really want to ask u this. in doing step three, sometimes i encounter being able to orient the edges of one side, but then the remaining side's got two unoriented edges. it's very frustrating so what i do is upon finishing f2l, i directly orient the edges of the top layer... i think that's no longer the original petrus. can u give me some tips, please. please respond. thanks.
i would reccomend you doing f2l petrus then doing Oll and Pll as a last layer type, I use fridrich with Oll And Pll i know all Pll's but working on Oll's just a little tip :]
This is an example video. Not a tutorial. If it was supposed to teach anything I would have called it a petrus tutorial. Next time open your eyes before you type anything.
dude! this is a sample solve!! you're supposed to watch a tutorial..then watch a sample solve to understand the method more!! dude..don't be an idiot.. (talking to TsT13Norman)
When I started learning Petrus, I got confused by this as well.
After the 2x3 block, what you're supposed to do is to correct the orientation of the top layer edges, so that when you get there (F2L done) The cross will already be done.
However, imo, this is a confusing step, and limits moves for the next step.
Rather than correct edge Orientation, I simply finish the F2L, and then When I get to the top, I use one of 2 Algorithims to make the cross. You can then continue from step 5.
I'm not really doing much different, except moving a step to a later stage - yes it does mean (slightly) more moves (I think, not sure) but it's just as effective in terms of speed.
Can you please make a tutorial? :D

He's just bad at it. I consider it a method to use befoae you're ready for Fridrich.

I MORE AND MORE RESCPECT FRIDRICH NOW
BigBossHuntelaar 6 months ago
go to badmephisto's channel and learn fridrich. go on go on go on.
jacobEhandyside 6 months ago
This method seams pointless, fridrich is faster and seamingly simpler.
ThelegendAtlas 6 months ago
is it easier than fridrich method?

dude, get a new cube, i can hear the springs xD

you know you can talk in your videos, right? lol

I'm going to make a step by step solution in case people don't understand the petrus method
JL2996 2 years ago
best thing: 3x2x2 using petrus method then going on with fridrich...
littlefrank90 2 years ago
but then you don't get the top cross.

Lol I hear springs.

The way you did step 4 is really odd. Hmm I've been doing Petrus for 8 months but that was interesting still.

I agree step 4 was odd...

can i orient the corners with only one Algo.?????? since I have to do Sune more than once at times......
smallvillex3 3 years ago
Yes you can and it takes only 7 algorithms.
MACProductioning 3 years ago
i wanna learn those, can u please help me...
can u give me their names, i'll just search it afterwards....

could be better but well done

Nice mute vid, i appreciate the silence.
Btw, it seems like the cube is too big for your hands lol.

where is the "good and bad edges"?
smallvillex3 3 years ago
Thats the same thing as "orienting remaining edges"

right, fine......

what is F2L pls.

this method is a good way to aim at sub 30sec. speeducubing.

Or sub 20.

4b is realllly hard to figure out... alot of maneuvering in it

Yeah, but once you figure it out it becomes the easiest and fastest step.

nice cube.....how do you get it to move so slowly like that? i bought one from the store b4 and it was friggin hard to turn
ilikechoklatmilk 3 years ago
This is a store-bought one as well.

yer me too! my cube was okay at first, but now it's really sticky
jsjuno 3 years ago
You add a 2x2x1 block to the existing 2x2x3 block.
MACProductioning 3 years ago
ocll??.. im now confused lol isnt it "oll"
kevin12blue 3 years ago
I guess you could call it oll. Typically, oll is for orienting corners and edges. Ocll means orienting the corners of the last layer.
MACProductioning 3 years ago
i would reccomend you doing f2l petrus then doing Oll and Pll as a last layer type, I use fridrich with Oll And Pll i know all Pll's but working on Oll's just a little tip :]

This is an old video. I use ocll/pll now.

i use fridrich. the universal last layer method.

Ya except it is possible to completely cancel out step 3 if you plan ahead during step 2.
