  • Just watched this earlier today. This is my favorite score of music from the whole movie. xD

  • I SHAVE to this music! ^-^

  • 1:07 That's my favorite part of this music!

  • I really like this version a lot better than the one they're selling on iTunes T_T

  • 17 huns dont like when she cut her hair and joined the army.........

  • 1996 anyone? Love this movie:)

  • I always imagine myself cutting my own hair with this music. I LOVE MULAN ♥

  • i wish this song had came on when i was getting my hair cut.

  • @itsmedugg The most epic hair cut in history!

  • my favorite animated movie of all time

  • THAT FLUTE

  • Actually, it shouldn't matter when you were born. Just what you grew up with. I was born in 2000 and I grew up with Disney Movies.

  • @DarkLover676 somehow it just feels weird to me when someone says their born in the year 2000 all after. it feels just llike yesterday when it was 2001 and everyone's birthdays were in the 20th century)well everyone who could speak anyway haha

  • @MultiYoisi *or*

  • Aw when the movie gets to this scene my sister and I would always turn the volume up, listen to it, rewind and listen to it again. We loved it..still do =) Childhood moments <3

  • MY FAVOURITE ONE! :D

  • I absolutly LOVE this song.

  • Wish Disney was the same as it was back then... Love Mulan. :') x

  • Long live Disney!!!!!! (Not the newer ones)

  • 1:04 Gets me everytime.

  • @j0hke yeah it made me orgasm :/

  • This song gives me chills every time!

  • What I find odd is that there are lots of people who like new Disney and lots of people who like old Disney and they always BURN the other group. I can't understand why, because deep, deep, deep, deep, DEEEP down you KNOW that they are the same company.

  • The best part of the song 01:08 to 02:12

    hi from argentina :)

  • One of the best animation movies ever made.

  • Bring back the old Disney!!!

  • I am glad i grow up watching mulan.......i miss you old Disney.

  • cette musique est absolument magnifique

  • I can't believe it. I cry.

  • @MrMaverickStoedter Does 97 count?

  • hmm, what did we get to see that today's kids didn't see? Oh that's right, films like Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Rescuers Down Under, Lion King, Hunchback of notre dame, Mulan, Tarzan, Atlantis, etc. I know they know about movies like Lion king and such, but they need to see these other films as well, they need to know what makes a good movie, not just some fancy CG and 3d crap, I mean real talent

  • @BlazingWarrior117 Toy Story is a 3d animation film and it's Pixars' masterpiece for me. My fave film of all time. Idk what happened to Disney (lone projects). So far Pixar is the one making excellent films.

  • @mikewill9511 true, Pixar made tons of great movies, like the Toy Story Trilogy, Monsters Inc Finding Nemo, Ratatouille, Wall-E, UP, and more

  • This is what I listen to when I'm getting my haircut. :DD

  • @paintsketch Heck I'd buy it! 8)

  • Listening to this to get into a story I am writing lol.

  • @Rainyday1209 You aren't the only one.

  • You know what Disney?. I'm a 90s kid, I'm still in college but when I get an education, I'm going to make money, big money. And when 90s Kids are the new generation of money maker and parents. Your going to do what we fucking tell you to do and make what fucking movies we audiences want; epic movies like this. I don't even know what kind of dope your on right now. The 90s Kids you screwed over are coming back. This time with money in our pockets and strength in our voice. Less Live Action PLZ!!!

  • 1994, that was the year I was born in, and I'm damn proud of it, I got to experience a lot of good stuff not just from Disney, but other movies and Tv shows. nowadays it's crap, with the exclusion of at least a couple shows, but other than that, all companies care about one fact: Quantity over Quality, BULLSHIT, GREEN PAPER AIN'T WORTH SHIT, go back to making good quality things, please, every fan of the old disney and other old versions of companies beg for it.

  • What is the main instrument you hear the first minute?

  • Love the french horn part...

  • Where did you find this song?

  • My brother's are so lucky to have me as an older sister. I'm a 90s kid. They are 21st century kids. Most of their friends have never seen or heard of the movies I grew up with. Luckily, I made my brothers watch all of those movies and they love them. Mulan is one of their faves, next to Hunchback of Notre Dame and Beauty and the Beast. :)

  • When I get married and have my own kids, I am giving them all of these classic Disney movies to watch. The "kids" movies these days just aren't the same; they can't even compare.

How can society let this magic slip away? :c

  • 1:39 Epic French Horn Win..

  • procrasinating! hw music! :D

  • i always thought the preview was for a horror movie at first cuz of the darkness but then id b like wait..mulan

  • Every time I listen it,I have the chills!

Mulan is my favourite cartoon. <3

  • I always hear the horse whinny at 2:15, even when I'm not watching the movie.

  • Imagine getting a haircut to this song...

  • @itsmedugg Lol, funny enough I did when I was younger! :L

  • @itsmedugg I have before. Best haircut ever.

  • 15 ppl had short hair .-.

  • I miss movies like this ;[

  • 16 and i still love this movie ^o^

  • 1:07 epic as hell. Kinda makes me cry.

  • I am 15 gonna be 16 in like 20days and i have grown up in the 90's and i will never part with my Disney moviess! <3

  • 1:07

  • I always loved this music... T_T Maybe this scene is the reason I 've always wear short hair: Mulan is the only one "princess" with short hair, and the only one who actually fights beyond her destiny and everything that said her "No, you can't!"...

Besides, I started to interest about China and Japan (and of cousre manga :D) thanks to this movie!

  • i will seriously never part with my Disney movies :')

  • man the comments on this make me feel sad

  • THANK GOD my childhood wasn't Hannah Montanna or Zack & Cody

  • @LittlxxPuDDing Agreed! How can parents let their children watch that crap?! I'm so glad to have known these Walt Disney classics!

  • @SiberianWolfToraGe it's up to what the kids are into really.

  • @MaxPingSkycaptain yeahh.... :s

  • @LittlxxPuDDing Actually i thank him that i was born in the mid 1990's, it means that i get to enjoy a movie like beauty and the beast or snow white and the seven dwarves for what it is and mulan (i am here right now aren't I ?) and watch modern classics like tangled or UP. being born nowadays just means there is a richer history to enjoy :)

  • @MaxPingSkycaptain Well I mean, Snow White was from like the 40s....So it wouldn't of mattered if you were born into the 90s. Yeahh...like the others said, it's just what you're into. I have a lot of disney, dream works, Fox, and WB movies that I'll be happy to show to my little baby niece. :)

  • @LittlxxPuDDing The Suite Life of Zack & Cody was actually a decent show. I really enjoyed it. The cruise show however... D:

  • @LittlxxPuDDing

    100000 %

mulan, the lion king, aladin, and more... it was great, i miss this moment

  • Pfff...Disney says they won't make any more "princess" movies because little girls are growing up too fast. Who the heck do you think did that to them? Huh Hannah Montana? Ugh. Miss the old Disney. Love this song btw, thanks for posting!

  • whre has the good 'ol drawn cartoon disney movies gone? The ones who werent afraid to break boundaries and have violence, who had good lessons and moving characters and storylines? Who wasn't filled with just cheesy jokes from beginning to end? The movies that stayed with you through many years?

  • @madisonblue96 i guess disney saw more profit in "dumbing down" an entire generation of kids to buy their shit. which now revolves around actors pretending to be " quirky and spontaneous " for a cheap laugh. the characters on disney are now borderline retarded. Pumba has more intelligence and he is a God damn warthog

  • @Bluerocka145 amen brother.

  • That song is amazing:).

  • Really lk

  • I'm not, but I remember watching this movie when I was really young.

  • I'm guessing most of the people here are 90's kids?

  • @MrMaverickStoedter The 90's rule B)

  • @MrMaverickStoedter ...Yep :)

  • @MrMaverickStoedter Hell yeah.

  • @DonutSeedsx3 Same here

  • @MrMaverickStoedter of course. Who else could appreciates these soundtrack like us?

  • @MrMaverickStoedter You know it!

  • @MrMaverickStoedter You don't have to be a 90's kid to appreciate a masterpiece.

  • @MrMaverickStoedter pretty much ;)

  • I love 0:58 to 2:14, very powerful.

  • Comment removed

  • Sets such a mood to the movie of sacrifice for those that you love....

  • Really don't like the generic beat that kicks in around 1:14, thought it was rather beautiful before then and after 2:22

  • When I listen to this I imagine the current head of Disney crying as he reads bad reviews about a new live action movie he made, and how Disney is gone. He gets up walking goes to a room where posters of Hannah Montanna, High School Musical, Sweet Life on Deck, and all other sitcoms are. The epic part of the song plays as he grabs a lighter and burns them all. He grabs a pen and paper and begins to draw. DISNEY! REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE!

  • @leopardhunter99 LMAO I like the lion king reference at the end. Clever :P

  • @leopardhunter99 'current head'? Walt would jump out a fuckin' window if he saw what his company had become.

  • @leopardhunter99 -- did you really just post this after they made the frog princess and tangled and everything, really

  • @BlackLuna0 Frog princess was there last animation cartoon and tangled is not considered a classic.

  • @leopardhunter99 Waaaait, so you want them to make more animated classics? But hand-drawn animation is now a bit obsolete, and classic implies a certain degree of withstanding the test of time.

  • @BlackLuna0

less CGI films. hand-drawn animation is obsolete but it what about flash animation? and things like that. if regular cartoons shows can make non CGI things why can't a big company like disney do it?

  • @ValforWing because Flash takes a ridiculously long time to do and results in vectory, mlp-style art, which is very opposite the warm hand-drawn look they'd be going for. When it comes down to it, Disney is concerned about what makes money, and always was, and "90's kids" is not the demographic that will cough up money to see things in 3D.

  • @BlackLuna0

alot of the disney films I watched growing up orginally came out before I was born but then got released on VHS in the 80s. disney had some nice movies in the 90s yes, but they had nice stuff before. how can it be that cartoons with no storylines can pop out episodes so quickly but disney...who owns ESPN and so many other companies...can't afford to make animated films anymore? a winnie the pooh movie in CGI would look bad.

  • @leopardhunter99 You forgot the part about the clouds parting and a vision of him appearing in the sky..

  • @dragonair907 lol yep I sure did.

  • @leopardhunter99 that almost made me cry idk why.... ha but seriously this is magic.

  • @leopardhunter99 Hey! Suite Life on Deck isn't THAT bad. And you seriously should give HSM a chance. I mean, stuff like this is AMAZING, but, honestly, HSM is... good.

  • @4dacommetz sorry, but in my opinion it's nothing special...

  • @4dacommetz How can you possibly compare HSM to Mulan and The Lion King? Disney has changed their focus on making good meaningful movies to making as much money as they possible can with stupid TV shows like Suite Life and Hannah Montana.

  • @MrMaverickStoedter It's really a matter of opinion but if you ask me people who burn HSM and stuff even if they haven't watched them (be honest, HAVE you really watched them?) are just as bad as people who burn old Disney (I know lots of kids who do that) without actually watching them. Me? I like both. Mulan's always been my favorite though. I have to agree that HSM's plot SUCKS but the songs are good.

  • The Soundtrack of Mulan, even the Movie is a pure Masterpiece .. so many feelings from my childhood keep on rushing my mind while listen to the Soundtrack. :-/

For sure one of the greatest Movies ever!

Thanks for the Upload of this massive Soundtrack!

  • El soundtrack del dia de hoy. Me hubiera gustado escucharla en el entrenamiento... =S

  • After 1:06 I started having good bowel movements :D

  • One of my friends tried to tell me Mulan is not a Disney Princess. That is so far from the truth. She is one of the best ones!

  • @Jikalakaka She isn't a princess sadly... Her father is not the emperor, and she married the General. That doesn't make a person a princess ( T ^ T )

  • EPIC!!!

  • JERRY GOLDSMITH IS OBVIOUSLY AN EPIC FUCKING GENIUS, WHY ISNT HE AS FAMOUS AS WILLIAMS OR ZIMMER OR DESPLAT?!?! INJUSTICE!!!

  • i'm actually supposed to be doing my homework...

  • TOO GOOD. TOO GOOD. TOO GOOD. I SPASM EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO THIS HEAVENLY PIECE.

  • Mulan came on Disney Channel today and I couldn't watch it because I had to get ready for work but hearing THIS totally makes up for that. <3333333333 I've wanted to hear a pure instrumental of this for a long time!

  • @poszie that just means you're into the more unique ones :)

  • UUUUGH, I feel her when I listen to this 8D It's so amazing!

  • I was so bummed when I bought the soundtrack expecting THIS song especially to be in it and it wasn't! :,( But I'm happy again listening to it here. THANK YOU for sharing. :)

  • one simple word for this = LOVE

  • is it just me or around 0:48 it sounds like that cry free willy did? i just keep hearing it like that.

  • i never realized just how badass mulan was until this moment. i've got goosebumps all over.

  • It ticks me off that this wasn't on the actual soundtrack that I bought. How did you get this version? Is this a re-release of this particular bit? I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a copy.

  • gives me goosebumps

  • The scene when this song plays is one of my favourite disney scenes ever!

  • SO GORGEOUS. Must... listen... again......

  • My favorite movie.

My favorite score in the movie.

  • Mulan and Pocohontas are my absolute favourite princesses and it annoys me so much that they are least mainstream!

  • @poszie was Mulan a princess? i thought she was just a gril who went to save her father's life...

  • @MustangEmmalee Daughter of a rich man, I guess.

  • @TheSancretor haha fair enough! :]

  • @MustangEmmalee No, Mulan wasn't a princess. And Shang wasn't a prince, either. Disney actually had Mulan in their "Princess" line of products and such for a short time until they remembered "Oh, wait, she's not a princess. Never mind." They also scrapped Tinkerbell from the same product line. As for Pocahontas, "princess" is not an applicable term for her. She was daughter of the chief, yes, but she would not have inherited any position of leadership among the Powhatan people.

  • @SaenWyrWulf thank youu! thats so interesting! i love disney! :]

  • @poszie They aren't princesses though. :\ Mulan was the daughter of a renowned veteran and Pocohontas was the youngest daughter of the Powatahn chief, far from any position of inheritance.

  • @N0hN4me Being daughter of a chief makes Pocahontas technically a princess and Mulan is a warrior princess.

  • @RurouniZakruo I just lawled :l

  • @RurouniZakruo Well, yeah, it does make them that. But it's still not convincing Disney. Just don't hold it against them that they pulled Mulan from their princess lineup. I think that also affects Kingdom Hearts continuity as well, but don't quote me on that.

  • @N0hN4me I always thought Pocahontas to be a tribal princess, (inheritance or no, she's still of an authority-figure's birth) and as far as Mulan goes, I thought I read somewhere that by accepting the Emperor's crest (his family crest, mind you) he was giving her use of the title = 'adopted' title. *shrug*

  • @KrysOfSorrow It all comes down to what defines 'Princess' for American culture and Native American culture. As for Mulan, I never heard about the Fa family accepting the Mon of the Emperor. In the sequel she was married to Li Shang and thus would formally take on his family's Mon. But as far as I know, Captain Li is the son of a high-ranking Imperial military officer, not necessarily related to the royal bloodline. This is based off of what I've only seen in the films though.

  • @N0hN4me well out of the Disney girls,

  • Semplicemente fantastica ** Grazie

  • I get chills every time! <3 The score for this entire movie was simply incredible <3

  • 1:07

    I came...
