the trick for women with very frizzy, curly or kinky hair is to blow dry the hair first...straighten the hair as much as possible with a blow dryer (the best dyers are the ones that come with the brush/comb,use the brush) after your hair is COMPLETELY dry divide your hair in sections (makes it easier) then use the flat iron..also, always wait until your hair is about 70% dry before using a dryer, otherwise you burn it.. use the blowdryer that comes with the brush/combs..trust me this works

Yeah, all of these little tricks are not helping one bit. I have extremely frizzy curly hair, and I live in Florida, and my hair only stays straight for about 15 minutes when I walk out the door, no matter what I do to it.

I'm a master stylist and what I do for my clients w/ natural, curly, or frizzy hair, is before Flatiron it, I spray a Humidity Resistant spray throughout the entire head and & the root to keep the hair from reverting back when hit by humidity or light moisture. The best one to use is, "HRM" (Humidity Resistant Mist) by Mizani. You can only purchase it through a salon, like one in a Mall or through any licensed stylist. Hope that helps. The spray can be used on ANY type of hair.
