Donna, I have always juggled with the notion of am I American or not since persons of colour like myself who are judged and never really fit in becaue of our outspokenness and intolerance for BS are targeted for personal, professional and political destruction. Having said this, hearing a song like yours that rings from such GUT-HONEST TRUTH, I actually had tinglings of what it could really feel like to be accepted as an AMERICAN who has always strived to DO BETTER having been born here.

Air Base Group, at Sondrestrom Air Base Greenland From Nov 1964 to Nov 1965.

I often think of all the brave men I meet there, knowing that many gave their lives in

Why haven't I heard this on the radio? I keep waiting to see the video on CMT. What a song of truth this is! Let's face it.....We all are asking the question "Who's looking out for Americans in America?" You'd have to be anti-American not to get behind this song!
