The reason for the riots is nothing to do with the struggling young folk being kept down.Its to do with mindless opportunism and wanting a new flatscreen tv and not having to work for it.

there is a reason why their doing the riots. I do think it's wrong but you have to understand that these young people tried to reason with the police. This is all about respect. The police treat young people like animals. The riots are the young people's way of telling the police that "if you don't give us respect we're not going to respect you".
I do believe however that they should do a less violent salutation instead of burning people's homes and looting from stores. That's just wrong...
