@stefan103 Yes, of course I have heard of PIL never was that into them. the point I was trying to make was that I think Lyden would have been a better fit in an alternative/punk band that played much more up tempo molodic music that had a longer shelf life than PIL. PIL was all drones and unmolodic sounds from what I remember.

I think that a part of the Sex Pistols art has to do with the audience/listener confrontation so that it is different for everyone and their art never has just one meaning like everyone in Japan or America brings their take and it makes the group something different. The Sex Pistols are a great Rock and Roll band and Malcolm tried to sell them as pop art and it became a weird hybrid which I love
