what was the title of Pierce Brosnan's detective tv.series back then? This is the first time I've actually heard his Irish Accent.cute,& I Always love the River Dancers.Excellent,Superbness!
@CulturePeaceForever It was called Remington Steele. Stephanie Zimbalist, was the female lead. As the daughter of Efram Zimbalist Jr of 77 Sunset Strip, she was better known at the start of the series. However, Pierce became more popular as the series progressed. Supposedly, this caused friction behind the scenes, although the two actors denied it publicly. However, they have not had much contact since the series ended and have not worked together since.
@ChicagoSouthDan And here's even more info you probably did not want to know. The premise of the show, as I remember, was that Stephanie's character (don't remember her character's name) felt that people would be more likely to do business with a detective agency run by a man, so she made up the name Remington Steele. She got Pierce's character (don't remember his character's name) to pose as Remington Steele, although he knew nothing about detective work.
@ChicagoSouthDan And I think this is my final entry on this. Doris Roberts, who portrayed the mother on Everybody Loves Raymond, was a supporting character on Remington Steele. Not too long ago, there was a special about Doris Roberts and Pierce talked about how she dealt with the death of her husband during the course of the Remington Steele series. And Pierce was approached to portray James Bond, but he had to pass on it until after the series ended.
@ChicagoSouthDan Whoops. Okay, this is my last entry on this. I did not notice that someone already answered your question in Spanish. Well, on the positive side, you got a lot more info on Remington Steele than you asked for :-).
It isn"t the same without Micheal Flatley.
