thank you so much for responding im very new to all this jailbreaking..just did it for the first time last night and fell in love but managed to have 10 blank pages of icons..not cool..lol..i am at work and cant check now..when i get back to my house i will double check..is it possible to connect my iphone to my roomates PC and delete them thru winscp as shown in ur video or do i have to do it on my mac comp?
i do not own a mac so everything seen in this video is done on a pc. The thing about sshing is that you can do ti through any computer as all you need to do is have ssh on your iphone/ipod. Hope that makes sense?
yes it makes sense so all i have to do is download wnscp on my friends computer and make sure that my iphone has Openssh correct? i also have dwnloaded toggle ssh does that matter? if all goes well with finding the webclips folder do i delete all? and are they just the blank icons or are they real apps mixed in as well? thank you so much i really appreciate your help!!!
thats the thing about webclips. If you have any shortcuts to webpages on your springboard it will delete those. This tutorial is for those who want to delete all the wbeclips (usually blank) on their iphone/ipod. I actually never tried this on 3.0+ but it should still work the same.

i have this problem but i have a mac and i tried using cyberduck but cant locate the webclips folder i only see library and media..any suggestions??

are you sure you are going to the root folder? (top level folder) because i get library and media if i don't go up enough (0:17)

forgot the program at the moment as i don't have my ipod touch on-hand but all you have to do is "respring". Rebooting the device would also work.
