Back around 1980 I heard James Galway play "Annie's Song" on a PBS special. I was 11 at the time. I went out an bought the music to play it on flute myself, but then I went and bought John Denver's greatest hits album, too. It was then that I became a major John Denver fan. John Denver and his beautiful "Annie's Song" are still my favorite. I wish John Denver were still here.
