Oh but Survivor 22 had one good thing... the pretty intro music and clips of Nicaragua. I love the green, 'dirty' water effect on the clips and the intro was simple and old-school.
I have mixed feelings towards this season... it is currently my 4th worst of all the seasons. But if all the people who made the merge this season swopped places with the post-merge boots, this season could have easily been in my top 10. francesca, kristina, krista, stephanie, even russell, they would have made an interesting merge tribe.
@Gurizin I agree. None of the interesting people made it to the merge. People like Mike, Steven, Ralph, Julie, Phill, Grant and Natalie was either extremely boring, total dumbasses or pathetic dummies. And Rob?!... He's just the biggest jerk the game of Survivor have ever seen. The only rediculous person who didn't make it to the merge was Sarita. NOTHING exiting ever happend in that season.

Are you serious!! Survivor All Stars was one of the best. Great strategy by Rob.Big blindsides,interesting challenges.Big players from the first seasons. Top 3 seasons in my book :).
I agree. Survivor Redemption Island is the worst season of Survivor. The twist was awful, bringing back two assholes like Rob and Russell was terrible. It was a boring and predictable season. I waited the entire season to see something unexpected and it never happened. I hope I never see Rob and Russell again on Survivor. They killed the show!
@JoshinSGV I have to respectfully disagree. While Redemption Island was a terrible twist, Survivor: Thailand and Survivor: Fiji were way worse. Survivor Thailand had the least likable cast ever and Survivor Fiji had the most boring cast, where 18 out of the 19 castaways were recruited.
@survivor10usa - I agree with you. Survivor: Thailand was a disgrace of a season. Collectivelly, Clay and Brian have been the most hated finalists in Survivor history. However, I don't think Survivor Fiji was that bad. Yau Man and Earl were very likable and strategic players and their alliance prevailed over the horrible Horsemen. I think Survivor All-Stars and Survivor Marquesas were much worse than Survivor Fiji.

@JoshinSGV come on, it is definitely not the worst..probably sub par...i am happy finally rob, the best player finally won once but the season is just too predictable and the players are too afraid to betray rob making it a bit boring...
@survivor10usa hmmm the whole episodes of Survivor 22 (Redemption Island) . Boring. Everything was predictable even the announcement of the winner. Plus ROB giving so much airtime and being in the show for several times ... soooo boring.
@KwentongPinoy The first 3 episodes as well as the Matt blindside #2 were good. The first episode was possibly the best first episode any season could have. Hidden immunity idol talk at first tribal council? = awesome. But it just went downhill after that and crashed into a trainwreck post-merge. from best to worst.
@Gurizin I totally agreed with you but I really found it boring. Even the subtitle "Redemption Island" doesn't make any sense. 2years ago we have the same concept of this in the Philippines. We called the island "ISLA PORGATORYO" and it was way better than this one in the US. All the castaways have no idea about the ISLA PORGATORYO". They don't have any clue that the PORGATORYO is waiting to them after they were voted off in the island. (part 1)
@KwentongPinoy The ousted castaway will face off the other ousted castaway in a duo challenge. The last person standing will be part of the MERGE. I think this is the best way to do this season. All the castaways should be clueless about the REDEMPTION Island until they made it there. (part2)
Redemption Island is by far the worst season ever and Rob Mariano is the most overrated player ever... Well, maybe except from Stephenie LaGrossa
