at 1280x1024 and lower graphics mainly rely on the CPU and it's power over the GPU, so now gaming is NOT all about the GPU.

And no, a 4870X2 will not do 1920x1080 at Veryhigh. That will play at a choppy 20-30 FPS, while what you want it is 55+. Once you throw in AA and AF it will chug down to 10-18 at 1920x1080.

BTW, the screen on the ASUS W90 is 18.4 Inches, so it will be 1280x1024 NATIVE.

4870 x2 desktop GPU gets 35fps on VERY HIGH 1920x1200 so i imagine the mobility version of it won't be too far behind.

gaming is all about GPU. GPU does heavy graphic computing and CPU is used to calculate light AI & some physics.

I beg to differ on the bootcamp. the iMac comes with a 2600XT, if I am wrong correct me, then I will go dig out the box.

It will do CoD4 on medium at 1900x1200.

even high at 1600x1200. Macs are not ment as gaming computers, but that 2600XT still packs a better punch then integrated dells and HP's.
