@fandelesluthiers It's just one piece. That was a free pattern from bead-patterns dot c o m I downloaded a long time ago. You can search for it there.
@1948Sheila A couple of ways to add more thread - Tie a new thread onto your previous working thread with several knots, cut the tails and continue working, or, if you have enough thread on your working needle, weave the thread in and out, back and forth, up and down of the beadwork to secure it. Then cut the thread. Do the same for your new thread, weave in and out, back and forth, up and down to secure the thread, work your way back to where you left off, and continue beading.
I just bought four beading books (sight unseen from Abebooks) and STILL DIDNT GET IT till I watched your brilliant informative and entertaining video. Thank you! BYEEEE!
Honestly, I don't remember where I got these exactly, but you can buy Delicas in bulk from firemountaingem . com, and many other bead suppliers. The more you buy, the cheaper they are.
It's decrease technique. Instead of adding a bead at the beginning of a row, you skip that spot. You keep skipping as rows are added, and you end up with a "stair step" kind of effect. It's very easy.
That's a very good question, and an excellent subject for another tutorial.
did i just buy a free piece of paper?

@lakotaladee If you do a search for "bead pattern software," there should be some selections. I use Bead Wizard.

For the kimono, do you make two parts and put them together or is it just one piece? I'm confused!
