  • @48657270 :c/ Hope not.

  • you were helpful. thank you for posting and teaching this skill : )

  • What's the website that you got the patterned paper thing from? The one you downloaded and colored?

  • @ForeveRChristin Link is in the description.

  • First half, without sounds on, I understood it already.. :D great vid illustration! :D

  • you mentioned that you could buy some programs to automate the process? Do you know where I can find these programs?

  • @lakotaladee If you do a search for "bead pattern software," there should be some selections. I use Bead Wizard.

  • how do you make the earrings top and bottom triangle ? good vids by the way :)

  • How will you close the projects that you make? By the way ur videos always put a smile on my face!

  • @BrighterTouches What do you mean?

  • For the kimono, do you make two parts and put them together or is it just one piece? I'm confused!

  • @fandelesluthiers It's just one piece. That was a free pattern from bead-patterns dot c o m I downloaded a long time ago. You can search for it there.

  • Hi ! To you too!

I am having trouble tying in the string when I need to add more string on the needle.

  • @1948Sheila A couple of ways to add more thread - Tie a new thread onto your previous working thread with several knots, cut the tails and continue working, or, if you have enough thread on your working needle, weave the thread in and out, back and forth, up and down of the beadwork to secure it. Then cut the thread. Do the same for your new thread, weave in and out, back and forth, up and down to secure the thread, work your way back to where you left off, and continue beading.

  • I just bought four beading books (sight unseen from Abebooks) and STILL DIDNT GET IT till I watched your brilliant informative and entertaining video. Thank you! BYEEEE!

  • Mom, is that you?? :)

    Thanks!

  • are you kidding ?

    xD

  • Good demo again..thanks. I just love Delica beads, makes the project lay nice n flat. Beads are more uniform than the cheaper ones also.

  • Oh yeah, cylinders will cost you, but they're so worth it.

  • thank you so much;)

  • You're welcome! :)

  • where did you order your delica's in such a big quantity? And how much did they cost.

  • Honestly, I don't remember where I got these exactly, but you can buy Delicas in bulk from firemountaingem . com, and many other bead suppliers. The more you buy, the cheaper they are.

  • Awesome, do you know where to get a simple earring pattern like that?

  • I just made it up myself. LOL. I'll do a tut this weekend. To busy during the week.

  • awesome cant wait, my moms wanting me to learn how to make her some earrings

  • how do you make the triangle shape ends for your earrings with the peyote stitch?

  • It's decrease technique. Instead of adding a bead at the beginning of a row, you skip that spot. You keep skipping as rows are added, and you end up with a "stair step" kind of effect. It's very easy.

That's a very good question, and an excellent subject for another tutorial.

  • Thank you! Would LOVE a tutorial showing how to do that. Let us know when you make one! Thanks!

  • It's even count, sorry bout that! Too many chocolate bunnies...
