Alas, I was at Keele before the camera was invented! All too brief a time there, (19)66/67. Wondrous! 1200 students. Life has been downhill for me ever since - and it has been a freakin' long hill!

I seem to remember one E. Clapton and his skiffle band playing in the Union Ballroom, one Saturday night. Nice tunes.

What was the motto of the Place? ... "Thanke Godde for Ale", or some-such ... and me a teetotaller!

Hi there, have no fear, there is a thriving postgraduate community at Keele! The KPA serves great food, holds events and is a regular winner of CAMRA regional real ale prizes. There's actually a PG open day on June 14 if you want to check out the place. I can't post a link here but you can find the info from Keele's homepage.
