I`m sorry, but have you actually PLAYED Max Payne?! The Drug Plot was in fact in the game, so why are you so surprised about it in the movie? Of course in game it had more sense and was better explained. Well this movie obviously suck, but I expected better knowing of source material from the reviewer too.

i thought that the drug was what saved his life yet the hallucination of the angels create the question of if its gonna kill him 'coz all the others died the same way but he had to take it to survive, you were supposed to have an emotional connection with the character and want him to survive and become the strtong character yet he has the hallucination and your supposed to be all "OHH NOOO" but he keeps on going and doesn't die but your supposed to feel death looming over him as he battles on.
at this rate I give up on movies being like the games the first one I ever saw was the mario bros movie and the more recent Resident Evil and no its just the name cause all the movies suck and are nothing like the games

I've seen this at the big screen and it was hilarious. Me and my friends were almost kicked out of the theater for laughing like idiots through most of the movie. The "not yet" line, and the backward dive with the shotgun are pure comedic gold.

@ApocalypticAang I love the books and that movie. Jude Law was a MUCH better version of Watson than that fucking dunce from the original movies, and Robert Downey Jr. played an eccentric antisocial genius, just like Holmes. I also like those scene because they actually show the thought process of Sherlock, portraying him as an intelligent fighter. I will admit that The love-interest character for Holmes was GOD AWFUL, but they fixed that by killing her off in the next movie :D.

I have nothing against the choice of mark walhberg, after all, when you look at him, his look like max payne but a little more young, and his not a bad actor, after all Martin scorcesse choise him for the departed, but now that you pointed the fact than the REAL max payne was in this movie... year, that was stupid to not cast him in the role of max payne, after all, the movie was released... what 2 or 3 years after max payne 2, his not that old for been replaced.

@The0men527 Well, Hitman is in the same genre, but Max is more blue collar and the gun battles are more organic. It's not just a matter of running through gunning everyone down, Max is not invincible like he is at the end of the movie. You have to make sure you doge bullets as well as dispensing them. Yeah it does take a little bit more strategy, but it also forces you to get immersed in the game. Not to mention you have mystery to solve.
I liked the review. I actually watched the movie. By the time that the second hallucination happened and I noticed it was irrelevant to the plot, I just shut my brain off and looked at the pretty pictures. I loved the Starman song for Max's shoot-em-out.

Its to horrible to even try i guess LOL well there has been another wound in the force. There is another movie perhaps even worst than episode one, it called race bending, I mean The last Airbender. @ERod2010 No kidding. This movie also gets the award for SLOWEST BULLET TIME EVER IN A MOVIE. I guess they were trying to avoid being called a Matrix rip-off, but I'm sure they could've cleared that up with one or two interviews...
@70alt1 The sad thing is it didn't have to be bullet-time. The could have use slow motion to accentuate certain moments like John Woo or Troy Duffy, but no they decided to shoot the two slowest and mot ridiculous scenes ever.

@ERod2010 Eric your show is great! I really like it. Hey I know you are having problems reviewing Starwars Episode 1. Its to horrible to even try i guess LOL well there has been another wound in the force. There is another movie perhaps even worst than episode one, it called race bending, I mean The last Airbender. You have to review this man, help us Eric you are our only hope :D

@ERod2010 No kidding. This movie also gets the award for SLOWEST BULLET TIME EVER IN A MOVIE. I guess they were trying to avoid being called a Matrix rip-off, but I'm sure they could've cleared that up with one or two interviews...

@70alt1 The sad thing is it didn't have to be bullet-time. The could have use slow motion to accentuate certain moments like John Woo or Troy Duffy, but no they decided to shoot the two slowest and mot ridiculous scenes ever.
