Hey kickedintheballs, any idea how many consecutive rounds you could put through that 21a before it fails to extract? 50, 100, 300? Just curious. Thanks again for the great vids!
Great vid on the 21A. I originally got it for my wife, but I like it so much, I carry it around often, it's so easy to carry. Only mod I did on mine is to smoothe out the underside of the slide so it's less likely to hang up on the top of the hammer. And the CCI's are the only thing I've found that won't hang up in it and consistently work.
I bought a Benelli MP 95E which is an excellent shooter. At some point I realized that the extractor was missing, but that didn't seem to affect round extraction.
Excellent video. I particularly like the nuke going off in part one of a sub-compact 22LR review. :->
After viewing parts one and two I gotta' get me one of these little Berettas. It may never become my carry piece (though it might on those hot summer days) and I may opt for the 25acp chambering ('cause of that 22lr rim fire thing) but I'm begining to feel that no pistol collection is complete without a Beretta "flip up barrel" "mouse gun". I'm anxiously awating your next video. Thanks again.
good video. when you record ammo test, i counted 6 rounds fired with cci with last magazine you fired at the end of ammo test. why is that? what happened to last bullet?
i was afraid that your gun jammed even with cci good ammo. :) i think this gun is my choice of self defence. how much do you think i need to pay for a new one? Do you think stainless steel or matte is better?
tons of people say that .22 can only make the bad guy angry and i am tired of listening that. what i believe is, doesnt matter even you have magnum 357, if you shoot the BG on his arm or leg, you will make him angry. if you shoot him on his chest, bigger bullet will make a bigger hole in his lung or heart or other fatal organs and .22 will make a smaller hole. but at the end, he will be down. how many people do you know who killed his shooter after he got shot in his fatal organ with .22?
I think you can get like a gold plated trigger and hammer for this gun. Nice grips (not CT) run like 50 dollars or more. A little bit absurd considering its just a couple of small pieces of plastic. A good back up gun though in my opinion. Great video.
great video, i got one of these from my friend who had no idea why it wouldnt kick out the spent round, this video helped me out ALOT! thanks much. you should deff do this for a living
Just wanted to say, this is an extremely informative and well-made vid series. I picked up a Beretta .22 from a pawn dealer at a show last weekend, which came with no instructions or papers. Now having seen your vids, I think I know more about this gun than any other piece I own. Excellent!
Wouldn't a round of metal in a knee or shoulder drop someone no matter what size it was? I mean I take your word for it but just don't understand how it would fail to do its job.
i use the wallet holster i have a collection of guns most are taken from people hew tried to rob me never had to pull my own gun its seems safer in Detroit than in miami to me
Just want to start off by thanking you once again for your videos.
I have a Star .25 pistol (made in spain)that is very similar to this Beretta that my pop gave me recently, and I love it. It is very compact and reliable, but it really hard to come by any info on it. If you know anyone or if anyone can send me info it would be very much appreciated. Thanks! Safe shooting!
Thanks for uploading this video. I was seriously thinking of getting this gun for my mom for Christmas (first gun), but after seeing how it was picky with the ammo and the effects of not having an extractor I won't get her this gun.
Anything you can suggest for her in .40 cal with an extractor a little bit bigger?
Well I'm a big glock fan myself & a glock 26 is my everyday carry gun but a G26 can be alittle big for some people to carry everyday.
Finding a good carry gun is really all about you and your everyday life so I would not really want to recomend something cause one thing that may work for me , may not work for you.
Just got one of these for my wife today, your video has really helped us to get to know this great little life saver...thanks man keep it going dude. We need you and your info!
Great informative vids. Was wondering it looks like you got a new camera. What did you end up getting and what editing software are you useing now. These newer vids look alot better keep up the good work.
Thanks man , I ended up getting a Aiptec 1080p HD camera at wally world for alittle over $170. I think the Video looks pretty damn good even after youtube gets its hands on it but the audio it not that great.
It has problems picking up audio from only about 7 to 10 yards away.
As for the editing program , well believe it or not but I'm still using old Windows Movie Maker. I Tried afew different programs but they all run like shi* on my old ass dell computer.
I've read that polishing the feed ramp may help with the ftf problems. just wondering if you did that or anything else to make it better.

Another MOD would be to have the end of the barrel threaded for a a suppressor. All BATFE rules apply of course

In my ridiculous state we're not allowed to own the bobcat but
for the time being its precursor, the 950 Jet fire is legal. I REALLY
enjoyed your video. Very informative and done with a cool
style. Oh, and please don't forget to kick down some of the
royalties to your most excellent co-star " jakey "

Another great review Mike! I'm personally not fond of .22 for carry, but I suppose they have their place.
I liked the behind the scenes action and I want to see more of Jakie the Best Boy.

I wouldn't carry a 22lr firearm for my carry gun also but to each their own.
Thanks man , I'll tell jakie you said whats up lol.

Yes I see what your saying but try shooting a attacker in the knee or shoulder when he's running at you trying to kill you.
Center of mass shots are the best to use if you ever needed to use your firearm for self defence. ( In my opinion )

Great set of reviews on this handgun! Thanks for the tips on the ammo.
I have a Beretta 21A .22LR, matte stainless with plastic grip. I've had it about 4 years. It's a good little gun.
