I have a teddy I have had from the cradle, called Flat Teddy (because he is a teddy and is completely flat... don't know if he once had some stuffing before I inherited him!). Agree about the "more adult" thing too - makes some sense.
It seems to me that in our society women are "allowed"to be more childlike than men generally. So if a male-bodied androgyne is more childlike than a typical man then that doesn't seem surprising. Anyway, who wants to be really hard, unemotional and serious like men are supposed to be traditionally? I don't know if androgynes are hugely more childlike than feminine women, or do you think so?

I can say I was happier before I started puberty- but b/c of my status... and illnesses- that was 4 yrs old o-o

I think it's because gender roles are less defined as a child/before puberty and that is how they were happiest. At least for me it's that way.
