I had this happen to me and so I switched team and rammed the chopper over and over with a UAV until the guy quit. Choppers can't fly like that.

personally I think if you can't figure out how to circle strafe then you're a comlete idiot. I figured it out myself by just OBSERVING the heli's motion and mastered this skill and now I own noobs on Rush Oasis with the Apache/Havoc. the heli rotates (yaw) in 1 direction, strafes in a opposite direction, while continuously pitching down. nuff said

I hate this tactic in MP, there is no effective ways to take you down even if you manage to hit a tracer, you just use flares and the tracer dissapears :l

But good thing that BF 3 will have BETTER AA this time around, in BFBC series they were mostly weak.

@lolisho0 i just see it as up to preference because if you learn the controls to one game it takes effort to get used to a new controller layout, if your playing with default controls then switch to a controller layout for left handed people thats gonna tougher for you. its just preference.

@lolisho0 i know the bc1 controls are not for the left handed people, i was using an example saying that if you use the default controls the switch to a left handed controller layout(Like Southpaw), then its gonna be tougher and you somehow master a controller layout like that, then your gonna think that layout is advanced cause it is tougher to learn for you.so its just preference and i played bc1 and bc2,i played very little of bc1 however.

@TheRockinryan i use default layout with max sensitivity(not sure if that does anything), honestly though i think the controller layout is up to preference, just play with whatever you are most comfortable with because i don't think one layout is significantly better than the other.

@drumline17 im not sure about bc1 controls but i found it really easy to do with default, i think the default controls are more simple and easier to use, because when you do this move you are always holding down the ascend button and it would be easier if you didnt have to shoot with R1/RB button, thats why i like default, because you shoot with LB/L1

@BlewUpMyTV It is an extra downloadable content, that comes free with the Ultimate edition of Battlefield Bad Company 2, if you have the Limited Edition, you must buy it off playstation store, it does exist for ps3 and xbox.

@NoiZGaming yes its available on psn. it is 400 points on either consoles, also up to four playerscan play co-op missions against an army of enemy AI across four maps. look in the store for it, its good to practice you heli skills and to warm up.

Too bad you can't do this on the PC, well at least without getting shot down in two seconds. The yaw is so sluggish on PC that you end up with an extremely slow movement pattern. Any retard with a rocket launcher can easily shoot you down. However the huey is a lot better on PC.

@NoiZGaming nah, i think the problem with the huey on console is that it dies in like 2 clips of an ak47, while on the PC, it probably has like 4x as much health. I don't know why they did that. Makes huey overpowered on PC, and weak as shit on console. Only thing that can take out hueys on PC is tank cannon.

Speaking of circle strafing, I personally wound try to avoid it just because your flight path is really predictable and can easily be shot down by any1 with decent rocketing skills. But it all depends on the situation really - the amount of pressure you putting on, how much cover for your enemies and all those variable making it impossible to say...

@mathaf001 You can circle strafe on the pc you just need to tweak your settings and the only way rockets can even hit the chopper is if you dont circle strafe at a safe distance. The way i circle strafe in this video represents unsafe distance, if my altitude was higher it would be a very hard shot, even for someone with good rocketeering skills. The only reason you should avoid circle strafe is when going against enemy choppers, because against ground forces it does lots of damage

Probably you havent played on PC, but people r mad with at4s and CGs, especially when your flying this close in such a regular pattern. But i guess everyone just has to play according to their style if they are good with it really- anywayz nice flying.

i have 6K kills with choppers so i know how to fly & i have 900 kill with CG & 1700 kill with AT4 & i use 90% against choppers

@mtatam99 the amount of kills you have with something does not mean your good at it, someone could have a platinum star on all snipers, that doesnt mean that theyre a beast sniper that means they just use it more than other things. and plus 20k+ kills with choppers are like the people in the top 100, so you have to be on top 100 to be classified as a good pilot? Since you have 6k you are not a "good pilot" then, so that means compared to a good pilot, you dont even know how to fly.

@AndiGaming This is onslaught mode, it is a DLC addon, you can get it if you buy Battlefield Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition, or you can buy it from xbox live or psn or even steam i think. It is a good way to hone your skills and practice with out going against real people.

@9180nathan1 i use the default controls, and would suggest just using whatever controls you feel comfortable with, i do not think there is a controller layout that gives you significant advantage in flying. My sensitivity for my controller settings is at the maximum whether that helps or not i dont know for sure
