Please, someone help me. I downloaded the Game of the Year Edition yesterday on Steam and I don't have a Bethesda Softworks folder. All I have is a Fallout3 folder in Documents>My Games. I put the download in there but it still didn't work for me. Someone please help me I don't want this to be a waste of money.

@SomeRandomWhiteKids if u downloaded it from steam then go to steam/steamapps/common/fallout­­3 goty and just paste it there if u downloaded it from another service then instead of looking for a steam folder look for a folder with the name of the service u bought it from

If its not there then you must of used a custom path to install it to. Search for the folders using Windows search is the best way I can tell you to find what you are looking for.

I had a similar error after the intro video - fixed it in Fallout.ini.

Changed bUseMultiThreadedFaceGen=0 to bUseMultiThreadedFaceGen=1.

I've been searching for 7 hours nonstop, and this file extension d3d9.dll worked! I didn't have codec issues, I didn't have sound care issues, I didn't have mod conflicts, I didn't have a faulty xlive.dll, I didn't have a windows live conflict, I didn't have a bad install, running in different compatibility modes didn't work, various other idiotic downloads failed...

But this worked... T^T

I have Skullrupta's rip, I lost my disk to fallout..... fucking annoying. Do I need to download a different rip? Also I looked at the xtremehack site and im confused on what the hell I would download for the full rip. Also I get this error when trying to download the intel chipset fix. Cant even start the game with that file xD I can get the game to load. But once I get to the escaping the Vault section, and into the Atrium, the game fps drops and it basically 'lags' like a bish. Unplayable from that moment. Also, during the main menu, I get mouse lag. Wtf. Windows 7 64 Bit.

No this is for the PC only. If you are having a freezing problem on PS3 then turn off all the autosave features and you shouldn't have any more freezes, but you will have to manually save it often.

I think you have to write those 2 numbers because there is a lot of people with that problem and they still without a fix, maybe if you title a video with those 2 numbers they can found it on google.
