The recoil from the bass pedal, off the skins, the different sounds you can make with just the hihat and rimshots... Not to mention, styling, accents and dynamics. If you aren't playing the actual instrument, you probably can't. Playing a drumset is one of the most difficult things I've ever tried, and it's quite frankly insulting to compare playing a video game to the real thing.
