This is typical initiation into any armed force ...even high school.....been there done that...at high school...and i am Zimbabwean.....no need to be scared...just boys being boys....and only the cruelty of the human mind at work

this isn't anything to be outraged about. If you are from Zim you would know that most rights of passage ceremonies for men and sometimes women include beating. I think its good for these cops. they must know the pain they will potentially inflict on others. Cops in the US get tasered as part of training and there is no outrage there....why pick on Zim?

No way....this was not a gukurahundi era incident, neither is it a thing of the past...for the obvious reason that people would never have looked this appalling, starved, underfed and an eye-sore. If it were gukurahundi period all these policemen would look a lot better than ever but Meh!
