New York- started it all, most of these bands were more artisticaly inclined
London- perfected the New York punk. More of a Political working class movement
L.A- took the attitude of the London scene and made it louder, faster and angrier
that's the great thing about the various punk scenes, they all were inspiered by each other

However, I will say swearing has lost it's shock value now, anyone can do it as the Pistols proved over 30 years ago when it was still shocking...
