Debt is the problem, and we are funding these bailouts with debt! The government has no money. It is already 10 trillion dollars in the hole. More debt will make things worse!

Just let the shaky financial and auto corps go through chapter 11 re-organization. Most will come out the other side with viable businesses, though a bit smaller.

But I think there are luddites and extreme environmentalists who won't be satisfied until there are zero emissions. Most people agree that there is a certain amount of emissions that the environment can safely absorb. I think that Rand would reserve her harshest criticism for them.
