But I do stop in at the Whataburger on Ocean Dr. when I'm in Corpus Christi. I sit outside on the upper deck and enjoy CC Bay.

I just laughed when I got that "meal deal". I thought it was an appetizer. He told me to show him something better. He came to Texas to visit and I took him straight to What-A-Burger. How does this thing compare to shackburger? I was in New York a few weeks ago and had one pretty nice burger. Probably the best I've had (though I've had a real nice American style burger in Paris of all places). Overall though I was dissapointed in American/New York easy food. Bit too hyped up. Don't know where they get off saying they have the best pizza's in the world (I tried Lombardi's) but while the pizza was great it wasn't especially remarkable.
but it's totally not - there are some in several other states too! but we undoubtedly have the highest concentration of them in Texas. lucky for us :)

i work at one in corpus christi and my team leaders(except for one) and manager(except for one,but she is a manger in training.) are total pricks they will talk to everyone else but they won't talk to me. on sundays when we get our breaks they will let us make our own food. i hope that when i become team leader i want to move to austin because there are more oppurtunities from a financial standpoint and i hope that i can become manager or GM.
I bet being around them everyday would make you sick of them. I worked at a seafood restaruant, a pizza place and a chinese restaurant - you burn out on them for sure.

i am a Team Leader in one and i have worked at different stores before trust me its not made as advertised like using the tongs to put the bacon and pickles? lmao haha then every order would be coming out 10 mins or so.
srsly managers do get decent pay though but team leaders and below is like meh. and god area managers piss me off!!!!! RGH!!!! my area manager is always on our managament team.
The ones where I stay in SATX do take about 50-10 minutes per order which is fine as it's much higher quality than regular fast food. I know a girl who works at one and they do use gloves and tongs, otherwise they get written up.
yes i have to admit our quality is much better then others. i really dont see the point in using gloves and tongs to make burgers they are just as bad as your hands if you think about it

Air Station just off of PCH, but i do believe it's closed

but the decor inside of the restaurant looked like

i work at one in corpus christi and my team leaders(except for one) and manager(except for one,but she is a manger in training.) are total pricks they will talk to everyone else but they won't talk to me. on sundays when we get our breaks they will let us make our own food. i hope that when i become team leader i want to move to austin because there are more oppurtunities from a financial standpoint and i hope that i can become manager or GM.

I bet being around them everyday would make you sick of them. I worked at a seafood restaruant, a pizza place and a chinese restaurant - you burn out on them for sure.
I still say they're good, especially compared to Burger King / McD / Wendys.

I was down in Austin/Waco/Georgetown recently and ate at Whataburger every chance I got! They are by far, the best fastfood burger out there. I wish they had them up North!

The ones where I stay in SATX do take about 50-10 minutes per order which is fine as it's much higher quality than regular fast food. I know a girl who works at one and they do use gloves and tongs, otherwise they get written up.

I live in texas. I love the whataburger i have 3 on my side of town here in austin. I am also good at the voice, ill try to post a video of it. I have been to the one in Corpus. It's two story and it has balcony. Awesome.
