  • Excellent professional video.

  • you took a couple minutes to real that in? i was actually fishing in the outer banks ( same place u caught your fish and i caught a bigger drum in about a minute and i had the line off the shore about 150 yards

  • @ajcrankdat wow what a great story you dumbass

  • what lb line is that?

  • at 2:36 wtf is that?

  • Flounder.

  • My grandparents have a beach house on Figure Eight Island, have you ever been down around there for red drum? With all my years fishing down here I have NEVER caught a red drum and i would love to. Do you have any tips?

  • your in the southern outerbanks? what town?

  • c'mon capt... be a real pro and throw some artificial baits to them! ray charles could catch them on finger mullet! nice vid otherwise!

  • This video is probably 4 or so years old. These days since I have started fishing Redfish Tournaments (which are exclusively artificial baits) I rarely fish live baits. With the exception being if I have a clients on board that are very young or old or just inexperienced. I really need to post some of my newer videos using lures like: topwaters, spinner baits, gold spoons and soft plastics.....

I'll get around to it sometime soon!

  • just bustin your ballz! keep up the good work!

  • great video!

  • ppl in California mostly use casting rods for inshore fishing but it seems different in the eastern states( mostly spinning) i wish i lived in the eastern states seems like the fishing is more fun except we have better offshore fishing

  • what pound line?

  • light tacklet big fish = HUGE fun. grew up in NJ(cape may )never caught a drum red or black but caught up to 150 founder in a day(20yrs ago).largest flounder caught 10lbs just inside the mouth of the jetty. its a shame fishing there is nothing like it use to be. fish mostly fresh water now but will hopefully do some salt soon. CPR = catch , photo and release . if i ever get down your way ill be sure to look ya up.

    thanks for the entertainment
