well when u beat the game on legendary(halo 3) it show cheif get in the cryo tube, then it shows cheif say "wake me up" or sumthin like that, then it shows the ship their in hurteling into a unknow planet that u can see on the multiplayer map snowbound. if this is really like a loop then all the halo 3 weapons grade would be lower in halo 1.. furthermore halo 3 has a Mark 6 amour.. dont tell me it degraded to a Mark 5?.. and howcould they find another High charity?.. cuz wut i know it was blown up too when the ring activated..

i saw halo legendary ending in my xbox360 and it says this is 20 years before tha halo incident which is the end of halo 3 then 20 years later master chief gets lost in space and they tink hes dead but hes not hes just frozen because he said wake me up wen u need me

um... Halo Recon is NOT Halo 4 as it takes place in New Mombassa (that city in Halo2) just after Truth's Assault Carrier makes its slipspace transition and you play the role of an ODST. For all you ppl who have played Ghost Recon, i think its gonna be similar.. except with a Halo-Theme. (So basicly squad-based warfare. sorta first-person) Heck... even the names are similar... Recon.

I know what you mean, you are implying that the Halo 3 ending where Master Chief says "wake me when you need me" is right here and he is being woken up. Good observation but Sgt. Johnson dies. So this can't be related to Halo 3. That is just a similar looking pod to Halo 3.

It's not a paradox, for one, it's a completely different ship. It's not surprising there is a pod in his ship anyway, it could be used for healing in Halo.
One thing I find strange is that how does the pod even work at the end of Halo 3? Surely there would be no power.

If you really want to watch the ending on legendary or look it up on youtube (duh!) it shows a little probe thing either that or its the back half of the dawn floating toward what i believe is to Reach where all of the other spartans where hel up during the First war with The Covenant but its only a guess

well when u beat the game on legendary(halo 3) it show cheif get in the cryo tube, then it shows cheif say "wake me up" or sumthin like that, then it shows the ship their in hurteling into a unknow planet that u can see on the multiplayer map snowbound. And in the beggings of halo 1 cheif is in a full intact ship, at the end of halo 3, he's in part of the dawn or whatever it's called. so this can't be true. But i don't want to sound like some nerd just getin my hopes up 4 a halo 4.

bungie made the end of halo 3(the part where he enters the cyrotube) to LOOK like the beginning of halo1 so the player can bring up fond memories of playing the first game.
the portal is a wormhole that just transports things a very long distance, not a way to go back in time. if they didnt travel time going to the Ark, why would they travel time goin back?
