I don't see you protesting outside of a recruiters office because the Army wont let you in. homosexuals have contributed nothing, just as heterosexuals have contributed nothing, because sexual orientation never had anything to do with the motivations of any great inventor/peacemaker/etc. However there are countless great men and women in history who happened to be gay and you can google a list of them in no time.
Very few people of any orientation actually rush towards death for a dubious cause, but there ARE gays pushing for military rights.
Marriage between a man and a woman has been recognized for as long as recorded history. No country needed to vote it into existence. The purpose of such a family has a lot to do with bearing and raising children - something a homosexual relationship can't do for obvious reasons. Since when did sexual preference become a civil right? These people running through the street remind me of how it must have sounded outside of Lot's house in Sodom and Gomorrah.
