  • NICE TRUCK AND SET UP

  • sweet truck deserves a nice lightbar

  • @CodysXboxCustoms Im in GA. A permit is required here. We can run red white and amber. No department marking required.

  • what state you in? also what are the rules for emergency lights in your state? because when i put them in my truck we dont need a permit. just have is clearly stated somewhere on your vehicle that you belong to either a squad or fire department which im on both. also we can only have all blue or all white. no mix

  • i feel left out with my streethawk now...

  • i like the set up. your trucks looks good. this video gives me a couple more ideas for my f350. currently i have strobes, 2 dual head strobes in the extended cab windows, and a loaded Code 3 MX7000 on the roof. all complimented in the sounds of a grover 1510.

  • needs a full bar other than that sweet

  • Nice setup, I have a few questions though, I seen you said you have a permit for the lights, but if you were responding to a call and the police seen couldn't they still pull you over since they don't know you have a permit, and second I know in some states red is only for EMS and chiefs and captains of squads, so could you get in trouble if you were in another state with different rules? and third legally can you go over the speed limit and run red lights?

  • @abram7117 thanks. If I were responding in my truck, running lights and sirens, it would only be inside the district I work for. The police are well aware that we run calls in our POVs. If I were in another state, I wouldn't be using my lights, unless maybe to shield a disabled/wrecked vehicle that was in traffic. All my lights are clear when off. My department's SOPs do not allow us to exceed the speed limit, even when driving the rigs.

  • what happens if the police finds out you have those lights ?

  • @MrJamDiaz The police will not do anything as I have a permit for the lights. However, you should check your local laws regarding the use of emergency lights on your personal vehicle.

  • @F250PSD OK man thanks

  • nice car

  • cool

  • Nice beefy tires you got there. What size? 315?

  • Yes. At the time this was taken the truck was stock suspension w/ 315/75R16s. I have since put a 3.5" front lift and F350 blocks in the rear.

  • nice set up man.

  • where did you get all of those lights

  • The LightningX's I purhcased direct from LightningX. The HLF and strobes were purchased from ebay.

  • wherew did you get those grille lights and head light flashers??

  • How hard was it to install these, I have a 99 f350 dually

  • Which lights? The dash light is simply a cig. lighter plug. The grill lights are mounted with small L brackets that I purchased at Home Depot and drilled holes for the led's to screw to. Then they are held in place with heavy duty mounting tape. I no longer have this setup. I have moved them on to my new grill guard. I will post a new video and pictures soon as I have a new camera (Cannon G9) arriving today. :)

  • one more question do you have to have a emergency light permit to have BLUE lights since they are considered courtesy lights???????????

  • again, that would be something that can differ amongst different jurisdictions. here, there are different levels of an emergency light permit. my level, is for a "volunteer firefighter" and allows me to have red/white/amber lights and a siren.

  • lol my friends brother got arrested for impersonating an emergency vehicle ..he had a crown vic and was pulling ppl over

  • hahaha! holy shit

  • That's not funny... That's pretty disturbing, actually.

  • What are you talking about?

  • ohhh thanks

  • were do you get a emergency light permit ????????

  • i guess it would depend on your jurisdiction. i just fill out a form w/ my dept's administrator and it's submitted to the state.

  • where are you?

  • Metro Atlanta, GA.

  • F 250's seem to be very popular with fire fighters in my town and across the country. In my town the ff's drive 250's and the police drive suburbans.

  • yeah, there are a few of us with F250's and one with an F350 SRW. The main reason I drive one is because I also do electrical work and haul a lot of wire and tow equipment like our bobcat and track-hoe.

  • r u a fire fighter

  • Check the front license plate for your answer.

  • are these kind of lights illeagle on normal street cars?

  • Yes. Without an emergency light permit in most if not all states these lights would be illegal to use on the street.

  • did you have to purchace them urself or ur firetruck thing job

  • I purchased them myself. They are used for responding to calls within my dept's territory.

  • thats tight nice vid

  • Thanks. The truck looks completely different now. Has a blacked out theme. I do miss how good it looked in this video though.

  • What headlight flasher do you have installed on your 250? Im looking for a multi-pattern flasher, hard to find.

  • Whelen's UHF2150 universal headlight flasher.

  • nice..i have a friend with the same setup but in blue
