I started Heliarc welding in 1962, welding stainless and titanium
aboard an aircraft carrier, I was an aviation metalsmith. I used
an old Linde UCC-305 which didn't even have a high frequency mode.
My primary romance with stainless was while I worked as a machinist
welder for a few mfgrs. of food processing and pharmaceutical equip.

God bless your plasma cutter, your Dynabrade and your 4" Makita!
Stainless (304) is my favorite metal and mostly because it has such workable properties for
welding, forming and finishing. Nice work Suzi!
Not Makita...Bosch( no safety on switch!)...Thanks for your kind words. Do you also work in metal? Art? Yeah for Hypertherm!
