  • curves of light, is that glass with glass beads in bedded? If not what kind of metal is that? Very pretty!

  • That is stainless steel...The piece is very large...5' x 10'.......

The glass is called Dalle glass and come out of west virginia. It is 1" thick stained glass....

    Glad you liked the piece.....

  • wooow !

  • great plasma work, thanks for sharing

  • I started Heliarc welding in 1962, welding stainless and titanium

aboard an aircraft carrier, I was an aviation metalsmith. I used

an old Linde UCC-305 which didn't even have a high frequency mode.

My primary romance with stainless was while I worked as a machinist

welder for a few mfgrs. of food processing and pharmaceutical equip.

  • God bless your plasma cutter, your Dynabrade and your 4" Makita!

Stainless (304) is my favorite metal and mostly because it has such workable properties for

welding, forming and finishing. Nice work Suzi!

  • Not Makita...Bosch( no safety on switch!)...Thanks for your kind words. Do you also work in metal? Art? Yeah for Hypertherm!

    Suzi

  • Presently, I'm making a railing for my boss, there's a video here on

youtube, just click my screen name.

Again Suzi, you do great work, glad to meet you... Eddie
