  • So fucking sweet! Sends a shiver down my spine haha! Two of my top favourite guys haha

  • Deadly Brud,Thanks For Sharing ! Fantastico : )

  • loved the jam and the smiths, wellers done nothing much since apart from walls coming tumbling down and shout to the top, weller surround your self with dreams oF pretty young girls or anything you want but please dont forget me or any of my kind, cheers Mr CLEAN

  • BEST REACTION EVER - even though you're a yank, nice one pal.

  • @TSbcfc1

    Actually, she's from Norn Iron....

  • @TSbcfc1 Actaully, she's from Norn Iron! There IS a difference....

  • but a genius..

  • he`s a washed up old mod............

  • Thank you Johnny Marr!

  • Marr and Weller...awesome. But I think the guy overheard in the beginning sums it up perfectly

  • Don't get me wrong, I love Weller, but there is an article out there of an interview from the late 80's where he's calling Marr a 'complete cunt'...

  • @cuntbollockswank people change their mind .... specially in a 20 (or more) years period ..... cheer man :) !!!!!!

  • johnny marr = legend ......paul weller = prize twat

  • @bensimps123 paul weller is britains most talented songwriter and still has a strong career- i love marr but noone has touched wellers uk dominance for 4 decades- noone- the most charted uk artist in history- marr hs all but disappeared since the smiths and electronic

  • Johnny Marr and Paul Weller. It's geat but why this song?

  • @joon1014 No idea but Johnny Marr could have played it blindfolded. Top tune by The Jam, though.

  • saw the "queen is dead" tour in san diego, ca...one of the best nights of my life.

  • Damn Paul Weller is a genius

  • Quality:)

  • Not trying to sound like a prick, but Paul and his other guitarist should have put their guitars down and let Johnny do all the work.

  • i have the biggest grin on my face!

  • fucking fantastic - thanks for sharing

    all thats missing is Noel

and Kenney on Drums and Ian Mac on keyboards

  • Love how the poster days "Watch my bag" and charges the stage -- right effing on, Dude -- you knew you were seeing History!! Thank you for recording this!!!

  • My reaction would've been exactly the same.. Johnny Fucking Marr???!!! Excellent.

  • It sucks getting old!!!!!!

  • @cyprixx You suck

  • @gsh73la lol

  • your all forgetting theres three legends up there. don;t forget steve cradock!

  • @epsteinsmutha1 well said!!!

  • @epsteinsmutha1 You haven't got a clue about music. Relating Mozzer to The Smiths and Weller to The Jam is mindless. You're talking of two great musicians who have moved on...accept it. Its not like Morrissey and Weller haven't done fuck all since their respective breakthrough bands. I bet you're a sad 18 year old whose swallowed the NME for two months and is trying to be radical...fuck back off to your Take That concerts you tosser.

  • @rjrayner1972 Actually I'm close to your age, wanker. Wake Up the Nation was a blip on an otherwise downward trajectory. Nothing Weller's done solo since he broke up the Jam measures up and the sooner Style Council is flung down the fucking memory hole the better. While you're telling people to move on, maybe you could post the same to old Stephen Patrick considering at least one song on his last few records have been digs at his old bandmates. Oh, and Foxton played on WUTN, too.

  • @epsteinsmutha1 spot on fella

  • @1967RTMOPAR Massive thanks on that. Weller's gone from being the dog's bollocks, to saggy, hairy bollocks. Full stop.

  • thanx 4 bein there

  • What is it with musicians and Marr?

  • two of the best guitarists ever only other person you would need is pete townshend

  • Great bands America missed: Abba, The Clash, The Jam, The Style Council, The Smiths - a space in your heart and a hole in your soul.

  • JM is so cool

  • the best

  • I meet Johnny Marr that day at Coachella, I had no idea I was going to see him perform with the great Paul Weller that same night.

  • I am very jealous of you sir. Thank you for posting, it is for me, I wasn't there. Sigh.

  • Thanks for filming this moment! You did a great job of capturing Johnny in action. I love your passion for his genius. Marr forever!

  • that's right, Johnny Fucking Marr.

  • Unbelievable!! 2 of the absolute greatest!

  • Weller Cradock Marr, it dont get any better!!!

  • I LOVE your blog/commentary regarding offering to pay for their lodging/airfare! That's priceless! - J

  • Marr is the man.

  • haha finally steve craddock is put back in his place as a real ledgend takes over!!

  • thank you for posting nice treat and big big big fan of both safe journey my friend aj mykyver over and out

  • 'Hard to hold a camera when you're sobbing tears of joy..." You did well! Thanks for posting. Go see Johnny and The Cribs at the Irving Plaza in NYC on January 16, 2010, you'll be in a puddle! : )

  • "What Johnny Fucking Marr"...Hell Yeah!!!

Two legends on one stage...how SWEET!!!

  • I lol'd.

  • @karziflora i felt the same at a FINN BROTHERS gig few yrs back. They were playing FOUR SEASONS IN ONE DAY when johnny walked on stage near end of song playing harmonica,it was days after JOHN PEEL died so they did teenage kicks and there is a light by the smiths....wow!!! hairs on back of neck moment, brilliant.

  • @karziflora

    and Cradock :-)

  • 2 of my heroes. Superb.

  • Paul Weller and Johnny Marr on the same stage together, i'm not worthy, i'm not worthy, i'm not worthy

  • awesome!

  • johnny marr is by far the greatest ever guitarist to come from britain....easily no contest!

  • @frenchielcfc

I would have to agree, but it is a contest. Page, Beck, Clapton, Squire, Butler...it's pretty tough competition. What makes me agree is that some of his guitar parts are virtually impossible to replicate...I would rate Marr second to Hendrix all time.

  • I was there, right up front! It was fucking amazing! Later that same night, Morrissey played on the main stage! Too bad, Marr didn't walk onstage with Morrissey!

  • fkn class.... thanks kev for this...

  • Marr & Weller is a class combo but Steve Cradock deserves some recognition to...3legends!

  • steve craddock needs a good kick up the arse...a twat of the highest order

  • what!? Johnny fucking Marr?

Yes it's Johnny fucking Marr the legend!

  • @alexandre1129 Oh yeah, and Weller is just shit

  • Love the video, and the commentary. I saw Weller in LA last year and it was a dream come true, with absolutely nothing disappointing (well, I wish he woulda played all night, although he did play about 2 hours with one short break, otherwise pretty much nonstop).

  • That guy at the beginning deserves an award for pure, unadulterated taste! I LOVE his reaction - just what I'd have said! Johnny Marr is THE BEST!

  • Holy moses!!! 2 of England's finest guitar heroes share the stage! Fucking amazing!

  • Johhny 'fucking' Marr...indeed...couldn't have said it better myself

  • Brilliant!

    Johnny Maher (the Irish lad)

He could have played soccer for us in Charltons days... hee hee.

    2 legends. Great footage.

  • fantastic to see. Marr an Weller...as you say, It definately does not get better then that..

  • two of the all-time-greatest

  • paul weller should always sing in a london accent

  • my two musical heros on the same stage. Awesum!!!

  • I love the reaction...

    "WHAT!?"

    Johnny fucking Marr?!!!

  • @gezdaring

Who cares about the bag? if this is the realisation of your life's dreams, then horse the bag away and get yourself up the front for a good chicken. Both of these guys are legends to me but Weller's dancing is a little bit sad dad at a wedding!

  • @Welshshedman Who cares if he dances like yer dad at a wedding, the mans a fcukin legend!!!!

  • @Welshshedman OMG you're right!! He does dance like a sad dad at a wedding..

I must burn all my Jam & Style Council records...

How did I miss that **shakes head**

  • @gezdaring that REACTION is Priceless!

  • @gezdaring hold my bag!!!!

  • i dont think morrissey and weller get on,do they??

  • Morrissey IS a great fan of Weller. He covered That's Entertainment, praised some of his songs and even suggested in a letter to Weller that they should 'duet'.

  • That's the way to do it.

    From The Jam, take note.

  • Ego trip revisited!

  • That must have been great thing to see... Marr and Weller, oh my!

  • marr's @ coachella...morrissey's @ coachella, but not together???? why don't you rub our faces in it???? bet johnny was eating some hot dogs too!

  • I believe they did spoke with eachother, though. Marr recently said something like: ''Personally I miss him, but musicially I don't.''

  • thanks so much for posting.

  • amazing

  • loved your comment!! Hope your mate watched the bag!!

    Two giants together,,, thanks!

  • haha, Johnny f*cking Marr

Weller and Marr - two absolute Heros

  • so awesome! thanks for posting!
