I've just watched this and would like to say I can't believe it but the horrible truth is I can, this is happening a lot. Sam looked liked such a loving, happy dog and it is so tragic that he was taken away from a loving family. Bsl needs to stop!

hi i am very sorry to hear about your loss i have an american pitbull terrier who is on the police death row now but i have won my case to have him rehomed but with tight laws and 8 weeks to do it but in blackpool were i live they have never rehomed a pitbull but they are making it hard so as they can put him to sleep cause of his breed which is wrong i jst hope what has happend to you doesnt happen again hope you get justice 4 sam hez lovely brian b/pool

BSL is Genocide,whoever administers that lethal dose is part of that decision making,that is inflicting suffering on the dog, the dogs family & many people like myself who are now feeling this horror, crying & angered we watch in despair..

The only reason this goes on is because the government will not implement proper laws on dog breeding & ownership. If they did that then the few incidents of dog attacks would lesson greatly. Certain MPs should be muzzled full stop.

I agree wholeheartedly with 2manylost, wise words and so well said! BSL is indeed Genocide of the innocent. How have we as a society allowed this wretched law to flourish? We must think carefully about who we vote into government and ask questions of politicians regarding their stance on this issue, I doubt many politicians even know what BSL stands for, meanwhile families are ripped apart, never to recover from their loss. Poor Sam, I weep for him and his family.
