In dem Video hast du einen Pony. Aber in "How to trim and measure your hair" hast du keinen. Wie hast du das gemacht, dass man den nicht sieht? Meinen sieht man immer, egal was ich mache.
@rvsaid1989 Mostly I get only good attention and its also mostly women. When it comes to men - I attract the nicer kind of guy with very long natural hair since the nasty ones are into more funky ladies anyway, if that makes sense ;)
Silicone.
I'm thinking about growing my hair long, but my mum has really long hair and it's not very healthy looking...I was wondering if you could tell me the name of the support group you are in (were in?). If they speak English, sorry, don't want to assume, but I noticed several of your replies are not in English so I'm not sure. Thank you so much.
@TheCoolgirlz11@TheCoolgirlz11, questions like that are always hard to answer because it depends on how someone grows. I did not grow my hair in one piece..I wore it a bit shorter, let it grow a bit, got some layers, went a bit shorter again and the decided to slowly grow while trimming monthly to get rid of layers and hair dye..
@TheCoolgirlz11 If you would grow it non stop from bald it would take me calculated 5,25 yrs. to get to this. But everyones growth rate it different. You can measure yours like I have shown in my other video "how to trim and measure your hair". :)
Btw. the new YT Reply feature is very confusing...:(
how long did it take your scalp to adjust to less-frequent washings? i have tried to not wash as often (i currently wash every day) but it always looks dull and oily. i haven't switched over to organic shampoo; do you think this helps?
Organic shampoo is almost a necessaty when stretching washes. The sulfates in commercial brands dry out your scalp, it will then try to even out the loss and produce even more oil..its like a cycle. It took me 1 yr. to get from daily to weekly. It will look better longer the more you stretch..wearing it down can be a problem on later days though (stringy)
Danke! So wie auf dem Video haette ich meine Haare gern wieder, aber ich bin krank gewesen und hab jetzt seit einem halben Jahr Haarausfall, schon 2cm Dicke weg, ich hoffe es hoert bald auf. :(
o_O ...I'm trying to show how long hair moves, per request. People think long hair is always tangled and damaged, and well its not with the right care.
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Just beautiful! Love the bangs. Love the way it shines and flows in the sunlight!! oh, and I love that song, too. one of my faves. nice taste!
Your hair would look much prettier if you would cut about 5-6 inches off of the ends. They look pretty scaggly. I love long hair but only if it looks healthy and thick. Good luck
Sorry but - healthy does not equal thick. That is one of the biggest misconceptions. I also don't think my silky, straight, bouncy, split free ends are "scraggly"...^^ scraggly is witch hair...those are simply a bit thinner. Cutting 5-6 inches would ruin my whole trim plan as described.
I have been trimming off the layered cut little by little, and the result is that the hair is thickening up little by little. Now it is thicker 5" up higher but it was not like that the year before etc.
Also...I myself don't really want very thick and heavy ends..I ike them a bit tapered to keep the lightness/ bounce/ shape in my very straight and somewhat heavy hair.
If I was thinking you were offensive I would have not approved your comment. I just hink "scraggly" is not the right way to describe my ends so I wanted to clear up that misunderstanding as well as the "healthy=thick clishee".
But if you do love fashion you will know that these days many haircuts are about tapered ends..thats the hype right now ;)
It can be when it is healthy. The natural texture also plays a part, some peoples hair is naturally more slippery. But like I mentioned if your hair is healthy those attributes are also achievable..:)
See..I believe there is no such thing a too long, too short, too wavy, too brown..or too anything for that matter. The right length is the one the wearer likes and there is many people aside from me that do like this length. So it is all a matter of taste, I just think people shouldn't be too stiff about it...be a bit more tolerant.
I know you are not insulting me, but I wanted to let you know that I, myself don't even really have a preference...therefore I would be considered more open to all sorts of hairstyles.
holy shizz! your hair is NATURALLY like that?! i wish i was you!! really! id have to take a couple hours to make my hair as straight as that if it was as long as yours! i hope you know you are EXTREMELY LUCKY!!!
wow! my mother would adopt you! I am the oldest of 6 girls... all of them have long long hair like yours.... i dont have long hair anymore i miss it, but i know it will never be like that again. i actually cut hair for a living.... nice video, beautiful hair, thanks for sharing. Questions???- how often do you get trims? and does the same person do it every time? do you color, blow dry, or use heat(flat iron ect), and what shampoo/conditioner? just wondering =)
LOVELY! Keep taking good care of it! I used to have long, blond hair down to my butt in high school and I often got bullied for it as well. I got it cut off about a year and a half ago because I wanted to donate it.
Had it in many, many layers but am now letting it grow out in a short bob to where it is one length. I want to let it get that length again and probably layer it. (too thick - really is like it doubled thickness in half a year LOL)
Your hair sounds lovely, I can imagine many people were jealous.
You might just have the feeling that it doubled in thickness because hair is always thicker up higher, once it grows out it tapers. So when you actually get to your goal you may not need layers. I used to find my hair too thick when it was a long bob, the ends were very blunt and chunky..but the more it grew out the less it looked like a helmet ;)
Thank you, I still get negative comments for it, but also many compliments....guess super straight and slick is not everyones taste. I know some want more Volume ;)
seriously ?! cuz i would kill for your hair, no lie!! i straighten my hair every single day, no matter how bad it is, for hair like that! i wish i could just wake up with that hair instead of using a crapload of hair products and frying the life out of it =(
There is a ton of things you can do and it is hard to answer the question in a few sentences. First take a look at my routine in the description to the right and I can also send you a link to my hair care website :)
Wow! Your hair is so beautiful...so soft and silky...
I had about waist length hair before, but I cut it all short. I'm growing it long again...

I wish you all the best growing it out again, I have been on LHC for a couple of years, I will take a look at the long hair loom, funny I have never really seen it.
The sunlight touching your hair is just lovely. And when the wind blows, how it sways back and forth. I can see a million shades of chestnut, auburn, and light brown colors. When I close my eyes, I can imagine it getting longer and longer.
Looks great, Emi! I think the video gives me more hair envy than still photos do, though. Your hair looks so silky smooth and shiny in a way that only super straight hair can!
Thats a common misunderstanding with the bangs. The hairs on your outer hair line have a shorter terminal length and therefore my bangs would never make it down to my ends where I need them. Also, hair grows with a taper, so those bangs are not going to be 1 extra cm anymore, more like 1 extra hair ;)
Lets see what changes when the layers are all gone.
Omg. Wish some day my hair would look like yours. That's my dream. :D hah
