So good to hear this ... this song was a track off a compilation CD called 'Let's Get It On' by Eddie F. and the Untouchables. It was released in 1994. Back in the day I never even knew this was Donell Jones since the track was listed under the group name, Porche. If you like this, another good song to check out is an old Usher track from his debut CD titled 'You Took My Heart' ... produced by the same people & backing vocals by Faith Evans.

I read all the comments with interest...Guys believe me their is talent out their...people who do and can sing from the diaphragm...Have a listen to LEGACI...on youtube, you may be pleasantly surprised!!! I've seen them in the states 3 times and these guys just get better....Not just another buy band!
This is one of the best tunes I have ever heard, ive got the Eddie F album, its got Changing Faces on it too which are another class group, gone are these days of top tunes but I can still think of the good old days. Thanks for the upload
yo this steve one of the memmbers of that group Porche' i thank you from all the other members thats me thats talking through out the song we tried several times to recreate that magic with donell on numerous occasions but he was too subborn to do so so maybe any and all request will be welcomed and you'll get somemore of that REAL R&B MUSIC
Yeah it would be good but the more time that passes its probably less likely, unfortunatly!!! Have you and the rest of the group done anything else without Donell? It would be good to hear it if you have!!
just remember this we have been recording and we're keeping up with the best out there right now but trying to get back in the game is kinda hard cause some of the guys that was in the game back then aren't there anymore so our contacts aren't there anymore so if you know anyone
No he was part of a group called Porsche. He was the main vocalist on the group. Eddie F orignally signed them but later on the group separated and Donell ended being signed as a solo artist.
hey thanx man for being on point with your info cause yeah he was in a singing group the consisted of Greg,( who we called "Tobar"), Paul (who we called "Duck"), and me Steve we was signed to Dj Eddie F Untouchable ent./motown the song was done by Dave Hall in fact his first single was written by the other two members Tobar and Duck in my basement it was for the group and then he did it himself it me back for any other info
yo where are you from with this straight up real information cause outside of us the original members, family and friends and everyone who was a part of our careers know that info
oh i have it like i said it's very dear to me and the other guys cause we never had a chance as a group to prove ourselves but how is hip hop over there
there ain´t true artists anymore, there ain´t true music out there. and if the are some good artists they don´t even get a deal. sad what happened to music. not the internet killed music, but the lack of true quality music killed it in my opinion.
If the rap & current r&b artist are anything to draw conlusions there's lack of courage on the production side. Major names like Timbaland & al. are just searching beats to sample instead of truly composing songs. Just listen Rihanna for example. The whole thing is like 50's Bobbys except they got professionally written songs for them but the principal is the same. The producers put up the samplecakes for another faceless clothes-horse.

Even people don't sign from their diaphragm anymore and everything sounds so feeble and fascade. WTF happened?

On the "let´s get it on" album by eddie f. this one is performed by an artist called "porche"
i think as well that it sounds like donell jones. did he name himself "porche" back in the day or did the uploader just mix it up????
who knows about that ????
DOPE TRACK ANYWAY :)
