It might be, but you can get your lyrics to look like that on the 360 also. just go to the pause menu when you are playing and put a check in the vocal static box

Nah. When you're playing online sometimes the first note of your bandmates doesn't go through.  I think its a leg/network issue. Doesn't affect the score though.

It's because they're playing online. You don't hear the singer's vocals online because of lag problems, so they just play the original vocals.

When you play online over xbox live you don't actually hear the singer's voice, you only get to see their ratings. CowShark's voice is way sexier than Rivers Cuomo anyhow ;-)
