type of carb (i.e. complex/ simple) has no difference on body composition. eat whatever carb you want, stay within your set caloric goals, get enough protein (1-1.5 grams/lb of bodyweight), and get enough fats (.45 g/lb BW) and you'll be good. good luck.

@aannkk look up HanhChampion, his asian and his fucking insane. And check out his diet videos he explains what he eats and everything. I really think its all about what you eat and how you use the nutrients from those foods in exercise to build muscle. Im asian myself and (not to brag or anything) im bigger then a lot of my classmates and i eat alot of meat and vegetables, no junk food.
i would recommend getting some simple carbs as well, like for your warm up you need that little fast carb energy that you cant get from complex (since they break down slower but you can get like honey which is healthy and they are simple carbs as well (but of course dont eat too much)
Yo vary if u ever come out to az and u wanna get some fun cardio in just hit me up and ill take u mountain biking its fun as Hell and it keeps me motivated to keep doing it
