Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Mike Gravel are the ONLY people with a SHRED of truth in the entire debates. Btw Bill Clinton bombed Iraq ILLEGALLY during the 90's so I don't wanna hear a peep from Hillary because she didn't denounce that well-known fact.
I thought Clinton was a complete racist in this debate. There are some things she said that pissed me off. And some of those things literally made my jaw drop. I'm so glad she isn't President. Not that I'm happy with Obama as President....
I would've loved to see something like Obama/Edwards for the Democrats. (Even though Edwards was involved in that affair.) And a great team for the Republicans would have been Giuliani/Romney (or the other way around) or Ron Paul/Mike Huckabee.
Scratch that.... Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee probably wouldn't have worked out because of Huckabee's religion. He's one of those that's over the top with it.
Obama has refined his positions on FISA, Iraq, NAFTA, and Gitmo to be a clone of George Bush.
Obama got endorsed by Clinton, Specter, Feinstein and all of them voted for the Kyl-Lieberman Amendment which gives the US the license to attack Iran.
Obama offers us the false hope that we all desire for. However he's sold out and refined his positions just to maintain the status quo.
Jeez, can't you people see through Obama? I'm British and he reminds me so much of Tony Blair. All Obama's doing to get himself elected is saying completely hollow and meaningless slogans like "a new politics" and "change". There's no substance in him at all.
I find Clinton to be rather arrogant, and while I remember FDR being influenced by his wife, I do not like the extent to which Hllary is involving Bill in her campaign. I find Obama to be energetic and an integrated person. Beyond that, Edwards is in my favor (though I think he may have dropped out, I'm not sure).
Besides the Democratic candidates, the Republicans that I find to be the best candidates to be Huckabee and McCain. I could tolerate Romney but I'd rather him not be president.

Hillary is the best choice for president!! When are we ever going to get a chance to elect the 1st women president???? This is it...obama can always run next yr,,besides obama does not have enough experience in the politcal field....he is just smart..thts all...Hillary has the experience and the intelligence(yale) to be the president of the U.S.!! Dont regret later and vote for hillary!!! Dont vote for the wrong personn..VOTE FOR HILLAry!
Come on people, lets go back to when we first heard of WMD and Iraq. Over 65% of this country said the same thing and that we should go to war. So dont blame Hillary, we were all misguided. Whether you claim you were wrong or misled both are ultimately true!
@marcorpentertainment that's not the issue, the issue using war in preemption is wrong, and is what dictators do, that's why hiter invaded poland. if u worry about someone building a wepon and u have to attack, the same is true from the perspective of the other. if they would have had some weapons, so what, the american empire has thousands more. yeas it was a bad dictator, but no more than half supported that, those who were, were morally bakrupt or easily brainwashed by propaganda
I don't personally have anything against Hillary Clinton, but I think that a Presidential Candidate needs to take responsibility for the decisions that they make as a Senator. She CANNOT blame President Bush for her past errors. She needs to be a leader and an adult and take responsibility. I like that Edwards can say "I was wrong."
Though Hillary may not have taken responsibility for her decision I don't think that fact alone should guide your vote. She said that she was mislead by the intel givin to not only her but to everyone else there. I believe her plans for americas future will work in our favor.
John Edwards seems to be a humble character. Whereas most politicians present themselves as consistent perfectionists who have no wrongs, he can admit to a fault. But Edwards approval of Obama's opposition from day one gives Obama more points in the consistency area. Even his running mates are co-signing him.
If you are upset with the current candidates, check out Mike Gravel off-stage. Watch his videos, read his stances on important issues. This isn't politics as usual - this is a real guy wanting real things for our country. Today is MASS DONATION DAY. Please donate what you can at gravel2008(dot)us. Lets get REAL change in the White House and in the world.
Why are we asking questions about Iraq, and immigration. Why can't we ask a question that is going to directly effect the american population from coast to coast. Can we talk about healthcare, education, environmental stewardship, and economic policy. We are all aware that our troops need to be back home, but hindsight is 20/20 and we have to hope they will be here soon.
Although the war is VERY important I agree with you. This shouldn't be a 1 issue debate. Now about the war....
we are already there. Either add more troops and make more efficient humanitarian efforts, or just leave and let civil war erupt over there. We can't half ass this war anymore. It isn't working. If they are really progressives and want to ameliorate what is going on in Iraq they know what they have to do.
We need democrats to get their heads out of their asses and realize how dangerous to our country Hillary is. Let her speak as much as she wants, so Americans can see her true colors. Don't vote for Hillary!!!!
Obama and Edwards have a realistic approach to things, they don't duck around questions, they answer them directly. Hillary was dumb enough to help get us involved in Iraq, don't give her the chance to get us involved in another war.
I know right! I perosnally am going to vote for either Obama, Edwards or Ron Paul personally. Between those three i'm doing my homework but right now if the election were tommorrow i would vote for Ron Paul!

Yeah i peeped that! But those are the ones that will get the Democratic nomination!I would vote for either Obama, Edwards or Ron Paul personally! If Hillary or Guilliani wins may Allah have mercy on us all!
Obama is a really good choice. I think Clinton/Obama would be the best ticket. Then Obama could be president in 8 years. (As long as Clinton doesn't have an "affair" in the mean time.)
So basically Hillary Clinton admitted she could be easily influenced, like she was by george bush. You really want her as president???? Vote Obama 2008
Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate that follows nothing but the United States Constitution. He votes for, and ONLY for, things that are directly supported by the States Constitution. Good job at Alabama Ron Paul supporters, 81% of the straw pole votes were in Ron Paul's favor!
After Bush cheats in the election, the Democrats give him the authority to invade Iraq. And Hillary says she did it because they all trusted him. So who is worse. A crook or a fool?
I'd rather vote for the lesser of two evils. After all, the devil you know is better than the one you don't. Pick your party candidate who is most likely to win, otherwise your vote is wasted on the other guy.
never pick the lesser of two evils, if you keep thinking like that, you'll always loose. Choose the one you think, nay KNOW is right. Then convince others to do the same, and the balls will roll towards redempting your government.
I am liberal on many issues but Ron Paul is much better than Hillary or Edwards. Both are two faced fucks who knew Iraq had no WMDs. Gravel is my first choice because he is a true logical progressive.
The congress unconstitutionaly gave the President the authority to wage war at will. The Democrats are complicit in that disastrous decision. Now, as planned, they call it "Bush's War". Ron Paul is infinitely more consistent than any of these democrats in trying to prevent us from going to war. Go look at his voting record and compare it to Hillary's.
elections can be "stolen" by distributing the voting resources, ie: voting machines unfairly. the average wait times are much higher in cities, which swing heavily democratic, as opposed to rural and suburban areas. also, because elections are on a tuesday and it is not a national holiday, many people are unable to vote because of work.

you're right cheesecake, a louisiana democrat arrested today with $500K of corrupt money laundering...spookynshadow is right...thompson's reganlike demanor will anhiliate all left-wing loons
there was way more reps arrested than dems here's a whole list: Tom Delay Bob Ney (R-OH) Curt Weldon (R-PA) Duke Cunningham (R-CA) Rick Ritz (R-AZ) Jack Abramoff Mark Foley (R-FL) Kenneth Lay of Enron Scooter Libby, President Bush's aide convicted today to 2 1/2 years on 37 counts of corruption. Tim Haggart Ernie Flecther (R-KY) Governor Indicted Bob Taft (R-OH) former Governor Indicted Tim Mancuso (R-NJ)
If the Republicans want to keep the White House they should nominate someone closer to center (i.e. McCain or Giuliani), Fred Thompson has no chance against the Democrats. Regardless of who they nominate everything seems to indicate its a Democratic election.
leahcim...i understand what you're saying but democrats have lost the last 2 presidential elections on national security. the fact is none of the democrats in the debate mentioned the JFK / fort dix plot, nor a DEVISIVE strategy for terror. just blabbing "diplomacy" and pretending to support troops while cutting their funds will hardly win an election. american public are too smart, and know just bringing troops home without considering consequences of withdrawl is suicide.
Read Palast or watch his vids on here. The evidence is overwhelming that they were stolen. And they're workin on 08. I'll come out and say that makes me a conspiracy theorist, since that's what Choicepoint, the Bush family and their corporate and political friends are doing for em. Your country's been jacked, you on;y get it back by voting AND getting involved in the process now.
breaks...come on, you seem too intelligent of a person to believe an election can be "stolen"...how can you believe that and believe in democracy? votes are votes. you must be suggesting some of the republican votes shouldnt count...and believe in democracy?? you cant have it both ways...and no, i'd never waste my time watching such rubbish.
