Atari XL/XE - Defender [Atari] 1982

Back in the early 1980's, Defender for the Atari 400/800 was the best home version. Great graphics, superior sound, and all-around fun.

I've got this on my 5200 and beleive is looks/plays identically.

Yeah, this version looks awesome! So, how do you fire a bomb? AFIK, you use the spacebar.

This game is by no means easy even at the "Easy" setting! Defender is one of many Atari XL/XE games that are noticeably more difficult than their 2600 equivalents.
