i have a 400 by 400 data set, so 160000 data points that i want to create a surface chart for.
400 points along first row, and 400 points down first column forming a pseudo x-y axis. each value from each row and column is multiplied together to fill in the rectangular space formed.
when i try to create a surface chart in excel 2007, i get "maximum number of data series per chart is 255" error and it won't work.
What kind of chart did you use?
Surface chart can be used with such kind of 2-D datum over 256x256, if you use Version 2007.
