As a Producer/Radio DJ, I've listened to Marley, Tosh and a slew of reggae greats, but none got soul like Joe Higgs. He's truly the Father of Reggae! I'm certainly in awe that he's so little known, which leads me to suspect that maybe the J'can govt and music industry set it this way. BTW, I agree with the previous commentator, this song seem to have been the pattern for Marley's Redemption Song, just listen for yourself. May the true FATHER of the reggae bloodline RIP.
