There's only one thing that I find to be so extremely DISTURBING and UNBELIEVABLE..
Why is it that trivial and moronic videos get millions of views while your deeply enlightening videos only get a few thousands.. this is a crazy world we're living in
@djbb975 hallo the answer to your question (Why is it that trivial and moronic videos get millions of views while your deeply enlightening videos only get a few thousands) the answer is that this is the amount of humans who have the thirst and need for real knowledge and the rest are just consumers. This gives the correlation between thinkers and morons in our planet. regards
Every word of this video is so true that I can't find words to express my complete and utter agreement.
I daresay you have the most consistent, the most informative, and simply the most inspiring videos on YouTube. I sincerely thank you and urge you to make more of them!
Hello, Tony Darnell, I'm your fan and I love your videos, I wanted you to know that I watch your videos in Brazil South America, continue their good work.
Love your videos, thank you so much for making them... when I feel a bit down about the crazy things that happen in this world I watch one of your videos and feel happy :-)
I thought you might find it interesting that the hubbe deep field video of yours was used in a lecture about the position of the image in cultures over time at university level in a Class I'm taking this year.. In Trondheim, Norway.
It true what he says knowing more about our universe does make us better people and not so close minded:) I talk to my friends about your videos and show them some of your videos and there just amazed at how you explain so many interesting things, thank you for your great vids!
I hear ya, it would be hard to make videos, but I'm glad you do, you explain a lot really well and to be honest your videos are the only ones on my suscriptions that I look forward to viewing! Keep it up!
I spend far too much time on youtube and I'll tell you that more than once I've referred to your Hubble ultra deep field video as "The best video on all of youtube." Sincerely, theclewis
I agree with everyone else commenting so far, I love your videos. I too was overwhelmed by a sense of miniscuity when I first saw the Hubble Deep Field; still do in fact. I love everything to do with space and seriously thought about making joing NASA my life's goal. Life, it seems, had different plans, but my love has never diminished. Thanks for helping me keep it alive :)
You make some of the BEST videos on you tube sir! They are educational, well done and you have the perfect voice for narrating them. I ALWAYS get excited when you are in my sub box. Happy Holidays and I'll be looking up!
My most sincere thanks to you. You have made wonderful videos and even this one today with you out on the water. I wish I was doing that right now. Best wishes for at least 500 or 5000 more videos. I enjoy every one you make. Thank you.
@CHAS1422 ....you're not a bonehead. But, the "joke" fell apart (due to technical difficulties). I might suggest to you some light reading on U.S. Navy pilots(and their flying machines). These guys epitomize the term:consumate professional Touch and go's around the field(constantly)..preparing for a shipboard deployment. Can you just imagine landing a big jet at night on a little plot of steel(in the middle of an ocean) going round and round...and up and down(coming aboard on a Dutch roll)?
We love you Tony. Thank you for giving us your knowledge for free. I have learned more in your channel than what I learned at college paying $300.00 a credit class.
please, never stop making video :) Its so encouraging to find places where people are as interested in astronomy as I am, wich sadly only is on youtube videos.

We certainly appreciate your efforts. I've learned a lot and have been entertained at the same time. Thank you very much and cheers to many many more!
Thank You Mr. Darnell. Your videos taught me so much about astronomy, the Universe, planets, stars, and everything else there is in the Universe. I absolutely love your videos and hope you continue to create them for as long as you can.
I'm sure you've inspired many to take up a career in astronomy, and if I myself choose that path, you and your videos played a key role.
Once again, I thank you for your incredible videos. You rock Tony.
I like how you can present a relevant, ahead-of-the-game topic and, unlike "BestOfScience," you can present the information in an interesting way, assume we haven't already graduated from college, and, above all, not drone on and on and on. Thank you for making videos about something important, rather than cussing every 2 seconds, capitalizing your entire movie title, and make some stupid 5th grade humor video. *cough*shanedawson*cough* Excuse me!
I'd just like to say thank you. Because of videos from you, I have learned so much about what is and could be out there. You have helped me start my journey as an amateur astronomer, and I only hope to know one day, as much as you about our universe. Again, Thank you, and I will continue watch, and learn. I cant wait to see your next video!
I like how you're always ahead of all the latest space news. Not just that but, you give a thorough explanation and make sense of what so many others cant.
Hey TDarnell, quick question. Does accelerated expansion explain why we are able to "peer back in time" and observe objects millions and sometimes billions of years in their earlier states?
