Don't worry, you can do easier dances. The point of the exercise is to do it in public, feel embarrassed, then laugh at yourself. It's amazing (and now I'm becoming a little addicted)

And if you can find an interesting landmark, all the better. For like 15 years I hoped I'd see the Great Wall b/c how can you top that for location?! Good thing I got a job that deals with China so much...

I thought I'd get to go on a big hike in China (didn't unfortunately) but I trained hard (for me) for months. That totally helped with the dance.

Dude almost everyone does crazy dances alone, I think. For a while I thought it was just me, but it's not at all. I definitely do it more than most, but that's b/c I'm smarter and can better see how fun it is! heh heh

The point is, you should do it more. Do it alone if you have to, but do it more!

See, if you had been my friend before I did this, I would have! All I did was ask my friends their favorite crazy dances, then did all of them.

The worm was the worst... first time I ever tried it, on thousand year old rough-hewn stone blocks, lol. Oh well, it was fun and that was the real point.

It sure is! Usually this section (at Badaling, the most famous part) is very crowded, but this was the day after Christmas. It was very cold!
