I'm trying to fight through hard mode with just the Knife, the Skeleton, Armor Knight, and the Golem Soul, nothing else equipped.

And may I say- it's pretty hard, but nothing compared to starting Hard mode in Ecclesia without it being a New Game+.

No, no it's not. First off the 'remixer', since all they have done is get the midi version and replace the instruments with higher quality versions, hasn't taken into account the volume of some layers. For instance you can't hear the detail in the organ as well as the original, it's a lower key and some bits have echo. It's very clumsy compared to the original and it's official arrangement.

If I'm not mistaken, this was the arrangement in the Anniversary package that came with Portrait of Ruin done by Sota Fujimori. No one has access to the original one in the trailer (which had shortened parts), so we're stuck with the one in the soundtrack and this one.

It might be, I haven't heard that version. However this sounds like someone just uploaded the midi version (easily available) into a sequencer like Garageband or Logic and replaced the instruments. Nothing is new or different from the midi version.

Also why is the uploader lying? This isn't the same as the trailer. The key is different, the structure is different.

MIDI version? I've only seen MP3s downloadable, unless you mean homemade MIDIs.

And I don't think he knows this isn't the trailer version; after all, there's only one supposedly official HQ version of this song :p

We have arranged version of the musics in in the Potrait of Ruin OST, this should have been the same for DoS music (and even Aria if possible =p)
